THe smuggler (SMR from now on) mission terminal will be a crime boss (ex. Jabba, Nym, ect.). They have the option of low risk missions or high risk missions.

BH side: BH would get a SMR mission from the crime boss and only the crime boss. Once the BH has the mission, he/she begins their tracking. Once the mark is found, BH has two options, Arrest or Kill.

Arrest: The BH sends a /arrest to the SMR. SMR can either resist or cooperate. Cooperating automatically takes the money the SMR owes the crime boss out of their account even if it puts them in the negatives. and the BH gets twice the amount promised to him/her by the crime boss. For results of resist, see below.

Kill: A fight will break out between BH and SMR (Both professions will be balanced to give each side equal chance of winning, depending on templet and player skill of course). If the BH wins, BH gets advertised price of his/her mission on SMR and SMR looses faction points with the crime boss they worked for and the money. If the BH looses, BH would have to travel back to the crime boss to recieve the mission again. The bounty would be raised (SMR would be notified) and this would be kinda like the pilot's fame points to the SMR. Plus the higher the bounty on a SMR, the more XP they get in their next mission should they choose to work for a different crime boss.







You really don't like smugglers, do you? Did you get ripped off recently?


TBH, I'd be a bit concerned when fighting a smuggler. You think you have it won in a shot or 2 and all of a sudden, you're on your back. If you don't kd for the last few shots, you're gonna end up in the cloner wondering how you forgot about last ditch.


The ideas listed at the top sound damn good though.







No. I was trying to think of a way to give them content. I had it set up that way for realism. If you borrowed money from the bank and you can't pay it back, they take your house, car, and whatever else they need so they get their money back. Besides it's not like making money in this game is hard.


(I was ripped by a SMR once. I paid him 40,000 to slice my rifle to improve the hit points and he gave me a low HP, cheap look alike instead and ran off. Been hunting them ever since

Nah, I don't like the idea of taking jedi out of the GCW. That's just an excuse to overpower them. I like everything balanced, and it's getting better. There are so many jedi running around, there wouldn't even be a Galactic War. It would be more like the Galactic Skirmish. I have Jedi friends who I want to be able to pvp with.... not their alts, but the jedi. Their mains that they play on 95% of the time. I like being able to pvp along side them without being a weak link.



Your post has been deleted for not kissing SOE's hind-quarters. If you would like to post a constructive critisim, please make sure that you provide the appropriate amount of brown-nosing before hand. And furthermore, post in a way that is accepting and complementing of our new beta game.

If you are unsatisfied and post where new players and/or future customers can see your disapproval, that is completely unacceptable as we cannot take anything else hitting our pocket books.

I'm sure a few wouldn't understand this response, but I'll say it anyway. Gee that would make sense! Sith and Jedi fighting? Bounty Hunters going after outlawed smugglers whom steal, cheat, and lie? The rebellion fighting the Empire? Wow who would of thought. I guess if it was like this the game would be starwars like. How dare you make sense and give logic to the messed up game! Nice post =P

This is exactly what this game would need to compete or become better as WOW is actually. The biggest problem with SWG besides the 1mil bugs is the fact that there is no real PVP but ganking - Ganking from alpha class jedi to non jedi normal class.


1. The easy solution would be to let them fight their own war with kind of a own faction or just a own tier like elite special forces not special force which would be only available for non jedi. -> More pvp player would play this game but WOW.


2. BH vs Jedi causes alot of nerfes to a wide variety of proffessions and not at last Jedi themself. The crybabys will never stop to storm posting the devs or corresponends for nerfs to another prof as long as this Jedi/BH hunting thing is possible. Stop the Jedi/BH hunt but leave the jedi as a 1.5 times stronger alpha class they are now - dont make them 1 man armys they were pre cu. -> Would end the endless nerfing of all proffessions including Jedi.


3. Let BH hunt smugglers or maybe even other proffessions with at least 1 combat elite prof if they do something against imperial law or another faction that can pay the bounty hunter guild. Since smugglers are the nr 1 target improve their combat skills and no xp loss but maybe faction standing by kill. -> This would end the hate in the community which causes alot of problems not only nerfing and ended subscriptions due frustration.
