Thread: Jedi as temporarily perofession only?
First of all, noone forces you to grind a jedi if you can't handle the permadeath. It's all free of will to risk 1-2 weeks of grinding to become full template jedi (Thats how long it takes today with the Kashyyyk LOS exploit spot. Look at the jedi forum if you don't belive me).
So, if we have a real RISK vs REWARD it's all about free will to risk it. You don't have togrina jedicause the game admits you to do it. The risk will be all on the player if he dares to explore the path of the jedi.
This way the jedi path will be an intense, exciting way to play, as it is supposed to be. Jedi will have to hide and stay hidden.
And for those who say that SOE don't read the forums I can only say - Howcome you think that every Jedi cry/whining post on the forums have come true? By coincidance? Jedis have been crying for BHs to end up on the terms for long now - and bang! suddenly we are heading that way.
Now - We BHs suggest that permadeath is brought back to end this jedi madness once and for all.
Jedi players, plz submit in constructive way how you would like this to be ingame. I know alot of you out there support this idea, but don't dare to share your thoughts cause of a few jedi loudmouths.
But this is the occation where you should speak up and make a stand, not only for you as a jedi, but for the sake of the whole SWG Online game...

I didn't say I wanted it, atleast give us the SAME 1.3K PvP damage a rifleman can hit us with, atleast make our heals like they still are, but wont be tomorrow! thatwould shut me up, I would be happy with just being the same

Being able to go invisible is also possible as a Rifleman with the /cover ability, it is not Jedi exclusive. Just as a RIfleman can't cover with anyone around, a Jedi can't cloak with anyone around.

How about some that actually make some point, rather than the nerf listing?

The only reason people have a problem with Jedi is because, just like ANY other player in this game, they MUST group to be effective in combat - and when non-Jedi see 8 Jedi running around, doing their profession-specific thing, they freak out and decide to hate Jedi and it's all "they shouldn't be here" and "I got "ganked" by a group of 8 Jedi." A group of 8 Rifleman can gank 1 lone SF person just as easily as 8 Jedi...but the glowsticks just bring about so much spite, I don't get it.
