Wow.. get home and after a couple after work drinks find my post is still on the first page.. crazy stuff.. anyways

First this isn't 100% about a Jedi slot it was "The icing on the cake ..." as per the second line...

Second .. are my points really that bad? People with the "you want some cheese with that whine" saying you disagree? Yes games ingeneralhave bugs.. but after 3+ ? years of developement and $15/month X 300,000 users= $4,500,000 coming in per month.. (not counting the game purchases) you would thinkthe bugsmay have been ironed out 20 million dollars later. Professions aren't even fixed yet. It's laughable.

Third. ... the icing on the cake.. having to Master this and that to open a slot. Now mind you we don't know what is totally involved but I think we can agree that you probably need a holocron or 2 to do it. My angle is basically this..

(sorry no quoting here.. )

Skywalker > (out of breath..) I can't lift it.. it's too heavy..

Yoda > No, only heavy in your mind.

Skywalker > (huffing and puffing)

Yoda > Oh wait a sec! You take those cooking classes I told you to take? Well you get your spatula and your oven mittens and you go learn to cook! Only once you have mastered the ways ofthe pancake flip and harnested the power of baking soda can you learn the ways of the force.

----

Ok a little over the top.. but so is the 'concept' (see the quotes?) that I have to master Chef to become a Jedi. So like I sayit's theprinciple.

I am a Star Wars fan (first movie I ever saw was ESB when I was 5) and a video game fan ( yes.. I played Atari ) and because of that I am writing this post.

----

Trust me.. some may be irritated or put off at this post... but I'm more pissed off that it came to this and I'm about to quit a game I've been talking about with my buddies for2 years.. sniff sniff ....

Took a look just now before posting. As of 10pm central time, about half the servers are "medium", the other half are "light". How pathetic is that? Is this a sign of SWG gaining customers or losing them? I seem to recall servers use to be "heavy".

what does chef have to do with becoming a jedi? Well there is a theory out there that says its about the apprentice points...not the professions you master. Afterall the Holos just HINT at what you should do.

i think they really need to make one clarification on things, because if it was something around you have to master x professions but the holos tell you what ones gain you the most hidden fscs exp, then i think thatd be fine, but the whole system eliminates roleplayers from being jedi, which makes jedi in 1337 dudez, which sucks

The fact is; This game is still VERY popular and many ppl (like me) enjoy it immensely. I've been playing since early July.

I will not give up MCH for a grind fest. I bet I'm not the only one who won't give up their current character. So the servers are not going to be crowded with Jedi. Plus, those that are FS, get to keep their original characters. Maaning, they won't ALWAYS play the jedi character, cause face it. Jedi looks pretty... um.. boring right now. After the first week of screaming w00t! what do you have? another grindfest with a 14th weapon and a lonely long grind it is.

Creature Handlers Rule, and I will be one for a LONG time to come.

I haven't played this game in over a month. To me $15 dollars a month isn't a huge hit on my wallet. Thats mainly the only reason why my account is still active, and the hope that one day it will be fun again. Though I posted somthing simmilar to this post to try to get some attention from SOE. Except it didn't say i was cancelling my account, i just swore a lot and basiclly talked about how crappy this game is. I've never seen soo many pissed off customers.

If just 25% of the pissed off customers posted here showing their dislike and dissapointment with this game, i'm sure we would see a respone from SOE and maybe some steps in the right direction to making this game what it was hyped to be.

This game is the most frustrating game i've ever played.

I have two friends that just signed on.

These quitters always assume the population is stagnant and that leaving will create some kind of vacuum. Wrong! 300,000 subscribers and the holiday season isn't even here yet. I'm sure when there are 500k+ subscribers around Jan 5th....we'll all reallllly care that you quit.

So many people in this particular thread thought they were going to be special and become Jedi. Guess what? We can't all be special. When there is less than a 1% chance of doing something, yes, those numbers apply to everyone...no matter how many posts you make

hehe.. considering the jedi thing is out... (as in.. from rumor to truth) that people CAN be jedi.. and not just thinking it is "possible" to be one hehe... more and more people will sign up....

The hardcore players (or very lucky casual players) will open them fast and soon. some may take longer than others.. but the "end game" for some is there

I personally waiting for player cities to come out.. make a whole bunch of building with my skills (and some extra furniture) and then I'm changing skills.. being an architect since day one was nice.. but I wanna try something different now.. (I MAY get jedi slot someday.. but probably not the next 3 months hehe..
