We won't get the overpopulation and timeline problems solved with the jedi protective attitude.

Jedi is a very special profession and should be treated that way. It has to have a great risk for the reward of being .5 stronger than other professions if it is to fit in a MMORPG.

There is no other way if the game is to survive. There are no other MMORPG's that has a uber-class like SWG has, and thats why SWG isn't working right now. No uber-class professioncan be indefinatly - it has to have a temporary form.

A majority of all players are furstratad or annoyed of the jedi profession. Even jedis themselves! Alot of jedi actually want permadeath back in some form. The only ones who don't want it are those who want to finish thier jedi template before they quit the game to be able to say they have been playing a jedi character in SWG. Today jedi isn't more special than TKM was back in the days.

I don't concider those who play jedi today as jedi - they only play a long-grind TKM profession with diffrent animations than TKM, but still same profession. There is no Force in SWG right now, only diffrent animations for the attacks.

Thanks. Would be awsome to see a real poll, that isn't infested by jedi trolls, to see how many in the total player community that support this idea.

Permadeath was only justified by how strong a guardian was pre-pub9. It doesn't matter what he says, she says, jedi aren't nearly as overpowered as they were before and a full-temp jedi is killable by 3 or 4 BH who know what they're doing.

Plus, you'd only want permadeath if you were one of those BH's who only hunts to set jedi back or remove them outright via permadying or quitting. Overpopulated or not, that's not right.

It's not right of jedi to ruin the game for the rest of us. Jedi are the most powerful profession and the same profession is under huge inflation now.

We are getting flooded in jedi players. It ruins the SW-feeling and is totally unacceptable by real SW-fans!

Jedi should be unique and powerful.

It's a very selfishto run over all others that don't think jedi are cool. GCW and other overt PvP events are threathend by reckless jedi players running around infesting diffrent locations.

Furthermore the devs has stated that SWG is to take placebetween EP IV and V and NO officialdecisions from SOE/LucasArt has been made to change this, so I hope they are to stick to thier word and swing things around to fit the timeline.

Or else I think they will keep loosing players that don't want to be part of a SWG that has gone Jedi Academy Online.

Jedi have rights too an BH shouln't have right to ruin game experience for jedi, either. Nobody should have permadeath on a char they spend years making.

Since it's against timeline and the game balance having as many jedi as thereare today, I don't see why SOE shouldnt find ways to balance the game again.

Nerfing jedi until they are the same as TKM used to be isnt a good way. That's against the very nature of what jedi represent in SW universe and totally unacceptable for all true SW-fans.

Jedi doenst take years to grind. If it tok that long for you, you must have done something terribly wrong when grinding. And furthermore it only takes a few weeks to grind a jedi today with the Kashyyyk expolits. I would say it takes longer to grind MBH today than it takes to grind jedi, cause you can't grind investigation skills AFK...

So, if you selfish jedi players could accept that we want our GCW back and the regular professions being ordinary, we would appreciate it. Try to accept that jedi isn't supposed to be overflooding the galaxy and back off. Don't be so selfish and go around thinking 'I don't care about the timeline or the GCW as long I can play a jedi'.

You are ruining the game for the rest of us while we wait for you to get bored playing in God-mode.

Accept permadeath (jediskills loss when DBd) and server jedi population cap to save the galaxy.

simple soloution...either kill all the jedi, or...have the jedi profession be like a 5 man lottery, and even then its a must they stay in hiding and cant get past a certain point in there training, which is true, becasue if everyone was dead but a few padawans got away, who could train them?

Here is an idea: Totally screw the star wars story line and create a new profession ABOVE jedi. Keep the current jedi the same or weaken them to thestrength of a regular profession (that would probably suck...), but allow them to work towards an even higher goal. The new goal will obviously have to be much much much harder to obtain, as to keep the umm..."Super Jedi" rare. Naturally, you would hvave to be jedi to work towards this new goal.

Another idea: Again, weaken the current jedi a tad, and their new hard-as-crap-to-get goal would be extra jedi abilities and the ability to have a higher combat level than everyone else. Imagine seeing alevel 94 Jedi running around.

Final Idea: Put yoda in the game and ask him.

or the highest point in the game...kill vader and palpatine, and become emperor, and make courcaunt or how ever its spelled a new expansion, but then the jedi would complain and they would have to become god in everything but name.

I would gladly go back to the days were i started learning that 250-skill-point-spent-on-novice-profession. No village, just a few, all was ok *sigh*.
