I guess my question is this:
For master rifle we are at +90 for speed. at +97 we are at cap so we need a +7 SEA
What I'm asking for Pikeman is at what speed mod are we capped, with an average speed weapon.

Ive seen the charts and numbers on speed conversion but I have a question about an abnormaly fast PH.
Im about to aquire a PH with 1031 damage and a speed of 3.8 speed. What I want to know is will I allready be speed capped or will I need tapes to cap? I don't want to waste the creds on speed tapes if they aren't going to help.
Thx

...and buy the way, I don't feel spending good credits on speed is ever a waste. Haveing the ability to pick-up any two-handed weapon and speed cap with any attack is a wonderful feeling
Just my thoughts, take it or leave it.

The base speed of the rifles you will need to cap those specials at your present speed is 1.91 and 1.67 or less respectively.

At +90 speed you will need a base speed 5.0 or less to cap HS3. Unlikely with a T21. Here is the formula. Base speed (x) * (delay multiplier) * ((100 - Rifle speed)/100) = firing speed. You want that final number to be 1 or less.
So for the T21 example we get X*2*.1=1 or .2 * x = 1 or x = 1/.2 or x=5 Replace the 2 with 1.75 for HeadShot2 comes out to 5.71 base or less. The delay mods are listed in the FAQ.

SO if you mastered marksman with rifleman because master marksman gives a +5 rifle speed you would cap?

Mastering Marksman doubles your speed. So double the base speeds above.

Exceptional one I looted a few months ago. Had a friend repair it and got 600/600. Thanks for replying.
