After 20 kills the Master Bounty Hunter gets a visit from Boba Fett who in turns gives the BH a Bounty Hunter Backpack (Jetpack minus the flying ability) and a full suit of Mando Armor. From here, the BH can visit Boba Fett somewhere and trade in XP for numerous items or skills.
Some of the items would be like the following:
1. a component to turn the Backpack given by Boba into a flying model. (note: Backpack and Mando Armor are non decay like Jedi Robes)
2. a stealth shield that would make the BH cloakable just like the Jedi, however to give the Jedi a little warning, the BH would shimmer like the glass snakes do (ala the Predator movie)
3. a powerful rifle or novice flamethrower.
4. innate abilities or skills.
Major Note - All Items given to the player would be non tradeable and unusable by any other profession.
I just wanted to put this out there and get some of your thoughts on this. The ultimate goal would be to become just as stronger as a full template jedi. However getting to that goal would take just as long as it would for a Jedi to go from Padawan to Knight.
So what do you think?
I agree that it would be great to make it easier to aquire Mando, as I collect armor for displays on my yacht. But as a MBH I want to see a rare object remain that way. I will eventually turn my attention to this task and it will make a fine centerpeice in my collection.

it would be exploited ... BH would farm kills of willing jedi's or their own jedi alts and then gain all the power ups to the character ...
One thing that some of you guys must have missed in my last post was that i specifically said mando armor (or something similar). I will be posting a very detailed revision later tonight.
As for BH's getting attention, I think your wrong there. SOE has given us attention in a negative way by listening to Jedi and making missions where you don't know the Jedi your are going after. Some of you BH like this idea and that's all fine and good. To compensate for that SOE made the NPC missions better by giving better loot. Someone up above stated "Two wrongs don't make a right" and I agree. That's exactly what SOE tried to do with us.
I feel it's time to extend BH into a better more detailed profession such as the Jedi have.
Also some one said where does SL, Ranger and Commando fall into this. My thread has nothing to do with those professions so I will not go into them.
Also, I don't hate Jedi. I have a Jedi. I've been working on him but I tend to like playing my BH alot more.
Anyways, watch for my detailed Revision post coming later tonight.
I think that loosing the names on the terminals although quite annoying is a worthy sacrifice for getting their faction, which at the end of the day is far more important.
Then we got the wookie fix
Then we got great missions, with difficult marks(most important) and good loot(next important).
And smugglers got.........????
Why do you want this to be dumbed down?
Its perfectly doable at its present state without a Jedi and is great fun, it just requires a bit of dedication. the best fix would be to keep jedi out of the DWB.

Smugglers? I've been a smuggler since beta. Yeah, we need love too, and we got a little bit with the Slicing mini game and hopefully will get more. However, what you fail to understand is that they have dedicated people working on each profession so this would not take away from the work (yeah right) being done with the Smuggler Revamp.
In no way is what I would like to see happen "dumbing down" the BH profession. It is in fact going to add content and give many, many people a real reason to continue spending countless $'s on this game.
so let me get this right, you no longer want to get rid of the DWB and getting the Mando Armour there?
If that is so then cool, lets just not be sacrificing really good hard PvE stuff for easier stuff
Also what puts you under the impression that tehre is a different dev team for each proffession?

What I'm thinking and trying to work into my plan is instead of handing out schematics for Bounty hunter armor, you would get broken Bounty Hunter armor. This armor would need to be repaired by doing quest and in fixing it, you would be able to choose the colors you want it to be.
I don't want to get into too much detail yet, but will post something tonight for that.

Non Jedi Professions Starve for Content, Look at my Ideas Above in this thread, You can see how it benefits all Professions, Why not feed the starving crowd? IF they wish to become mandalorian they can have that option. But it would comes with strengths and weaknesses
Yes, I have mando....but I worked my @ss off pre-CU to get it and post-CU to get the components to build a chest piece. Its not impossiable, it just takes alot of time and knowing the right people.
I'm sure someone's gonna say "Well you have mando, so you cant talk blah blah blah /cry." before i had it I still didnt ask for it to be easy to get. I realize you cant camp the spawns for hours waiting for drops, so have friends who have nothing better to do help you with it.
This is the one thing the devs havent ruined...lets continue to keep it un-ruined please?

If you dont want to group with jedi, fine. I understand that. You dont seem to like them. But what is wrong with melee? Get some of those and do DWB-Runs.

btw: Where do you fill in SL and Ranger (and IIRC Commando) in your new way to get Mando? Skinxx Bols for a visit? Leadxx groups? Burnxx NPC?
AGAIN! Stop using this argument. Jedi were supposed to be super rare. We saw as many people wearing Mando armor in ESB and ROTJ as we saw Mandalorian Armor. 1 Jedi (yoda) 1 Mando wearing BH (boba). Luke was not a jedi. If Jedi are rare, and mando is rare, with the 1 to 1 relationship, there should be atleast 500 full suits of mandalorian armor on my server as there is easilly that many jedi. Yet there's 1 maybe 2 full suits of mando on our server (kauri). The "rare" bullcrap needs to stop, this game has thrown that out the window long ago.

It is great to have loads of Jedi and it will be great to have everybody running around in Mando... Do you get my point now maybe?
If not:
- Jedi used to be rare and everybody was like "Ohhh, Ahhhh, Uhhhh!" when they saw one.
-Jedi are pretty common now and everybody is like "Eeeek, another Jedi, dont spoil my gameplay!"
Do you want to be Mando like Compo pre-CU? Do you really want that?
OK, I agree that they should raise the drop-rate for the components a bit. But as I said: You dont need Jedi for the DWB and we always have BHs on our runs on Chimaera. And I only used my Jedi one time down there to get the badge. I usually use my alt for that.
But hey, I dont really care. I have no single part for Mando, dont aim for it or anything.
But dont blame the Jedi when everybody is running around in Mando...
That's not going to happen. For one, unless I'm mistaken, only MBH, M.Ranger, MSL, and M.Commando's can wear it. Two it's assault armor and will never have the vaunted energy protections that can be achieved with Battle and Recon.
RIS Armor was supposed to be rare and uber now everyone's got it. I seriously doubt EVERYONE would be wearing it, they could still make it "difficult" to get, just not so insanely idiotic as it currently is. Nothing in game should be so dependant on another profession to get as Mando is. Jedi can cloak down to a Wraith that spawns alone and sit there for hours and farm it and have a better chance of getting BL or PLC than any other profession that would have to battle it's way down there.
BL and PLC are going for 50 million a pop on Kauri now. That's ridiculous. The DWB itself is not so bad to complete. The drop rate of the necessary items is what irritates me. I have no problem getting a group to craft it. I've been in on 3 successful crafts in the DWB. The fact that the necessary items to craft it drop once in a blue moon is the problem. If they raised the drop rate from 1 to 10-15 percent then I'd be happy.
For example, on our server a group just made 6 jetpacks in 5 1/2 hours. They already had all the components and it was an event type thing. Guess how many BL and PLC they looted on those 6 runs, in that 5 1/2 hours? NONE. Not a one. That's ridiculous. It needs to be modified.
