Thread: Am I wrong?

So I was cruising the DevTracker and hit a post in the SL forum about communication from the red names. In the post there was a line that said "and the smugglers thought they have it bad" so I posted a reply.

At first I said get in line since we've been waiting since launch on a promised revamp. I continued by basicly saying that he really shouldn't compare because most of the stuff we get is horrible news and said what we get is more along the lines of jailhouse attention.

So then his panties get in a twist and he starts talking about communication some more, and once again comparing. I basicly said look, if you want a post in your forum every six months where one says we're working on you and the next 3 say we're gonna push you aside again, then go for it.

Of course this resulted in the only response he had left. I was in the SL forums talking about Smuggler and that I shouldn't be. My last post regarding this was to point out that he was the one who brought up Smugglers not me, that I was well within reason posting a response because of this, and that I was not the one who wanted to compare, he was.

Well I'm done with that thread, but what I want to know is this:

AmI being unreasonable by going into another forum and talking about this crap if someone else brings it up?

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

This comment just made me not care whether I was right or wrong just because of the laugh it gave me.

And yeah, we shouldn't argue with those that ride the short bus with us, but one thing I know about Smuggler is that we reach out to them instead of comparing to them so I hate it when a dolt comes along and makes it sound like we're not hurting ourselves.
