Caelrie, as much as you complain about newb Jedi having it too easy, why do you support a system where Jedi can macro grind a static spawn from paddie to full-template and remain viturally un-hindered?

I don't. However, I can't abide lazy whiners in either profession. BHs are getting rich hunting on Kashyyyk. The techniques for hunting there are widely posted. Hunting there is not only profitable, it's EASY. The marks can't run, they can't jump in a house, they're all in the same camp, and half of them are AFK.

as far as kashyyy goes, keep in mind there is only one starport, and they have to leave some time lol....

Why do they have to?

There's CL 80 mobs in some of the dungeons. Find a group of like-minded individuals and you can macro-grind the same spot without ever leaving your instance.

You could grind from paddie to full template without ever setting foot off the planet.

I'm not saying it isn't easy to hunt on Kash if you have the time. I'm saying it's too easy to grind Jedi there.

I've nailed the same guys in the same spot twice a day and yet they still manage to earn XP faster than I can take it from them. What's worse is that they only have to be at the keyboard every 30 mins to check if they've died.

You don't think there's a problem here?

Only thing i got to say is go back to grinding baby jedi and stop trolling for info cause really good bh don't post their serets here.

The one jedi that find out something are the ones that fight really good bhs so go out and show of your jedi skill so he or she can kill you so you can come back here and whine about so we can laugh lol.

Fair enough hunting Jedi on kash may not be cost effective but what is forcing you to hunt their? Is it because you think you will have an easy AFK kill? But on the flip side i urge all BH to kill all they can that are genuinely AFK - AFK grinders Suxor

If you think being a rapstar on these forums is cool

Or if you think E-thuggin and threatening peoples lives beacuse your butthurt over a game is cool

I will personally see to it that you cry more

So I take it that goes for all professions? People who don't have any possibilities to play on the right time of day to aquire money, XP and most importantly connections got no one but themselves to blame.

Yes. You bought a game and then set a goal inside that game that you don't have the free time to accomplish. What, should SOE just give you 100 million credits and your own TC blue frog to make up for it?

No I don't expect 100 million an my own frog. However like some MMORPGs it should be a goal for the devs to make the game at least somewhat enjoyable to casual players. The difference will always be there but they don't have to be as extreme as it is now.

No one is looking for a free ride, log in spend 20 min. kill a jedi log out. On the flip side it shouldn't take1 hour to find a target either and by that I don't mean finding and killing but actually finding a target that can be hunted.

We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."

No it is not because of easy AFK kills, simple fact is that 7 out of 10 jedi is in fact on Kashykk right now. The 3 others are house sitters. There's no choice but to go to Kashyyk.

If you can't figure out how to make cash other than bounty hunting, you're not a very good bounty hunter.

Okay, so in good spirits I took a mission for a Jedi - 100k - that turned out to be on Kashyyyk. That wasn't hard since 80% of the missions I have tried to get are all on Kashyyyk.I am new to BH and I am not that good, so 100k bounty seems like it might be right in line with my abilities and I want a challenge. I have read about Jedi exploiting the advantage of the multiple zones on Kashyyyk, particularly the Ryatt trail, the fact that we can't track them etc, but I figure, hey its a challenge, can I overcome it?

Well, its overcome me. First of all, I spent an hour or two doing the Ryatt Trail mission trying to ensure I can get to the Webweaver level as easily as possible. I restock my bliel, my vasarian brandy, my meds etc in preparation spending huge sums just to try to get one good fight in. I even shell out 20k just to get some Parwan Nutricake as I tried doing the webweaver run to the feral wookie grounds without it and its a pain.

I search 4 of the 6 instances. I see some Jedi in one instance but none of the other BHs I know are on soI have to let it pass. I continue searching for my mark. I know hes online, I know hes somewhere in one of these instances of the Ryatt most likely. I perservere.

Well, all that perservering has gotten me so far is 5 hours wasted, 100k at least spent on a 100k bounty when you include the dmg done to my armor from being DBed twice by spiders or wookies, and I have nothingi to show for it. I have not gotten a fight that I could enjoy - win or lose - and I am *NOT HAVING FUN PLAYING*.

Kashyyyk isn't just painful, it has killed the Bounty Hunter profession in my mind. Jedi are completely free to do whatever the eff they want there because its *simply not worth bothering* to hunt them on Kashyyyk. I am *losing* money in the hunt, and the reward is insufficient as an inducement to continue hunting any jedi that continues to exploit this badly effed up attempt by the devs to engender sales. Its just pathetic, and its about time to quit as a BH I think. Maybe, just maybe, if the reward was say 10x the amount, it would be worth the bother. Right now fishing looks like 10x the fun, and is certainly more profitable.

I was ready to ignore the people whining about Kashyyyk on the boards, thinking it can't be as bad as people say it is etc. Well I was wrong, I admit it. Except Its worse than they have said. This situation is going to let the Jedi expand exponentially, and at the rate the devs deal with things in this game they might as well just delete the other professions and call it Jedi Galaxies.

I was enjoying BH until I came to Kashyyyk. Now I think its time to reconsider Bounty Hunter because its a dead profession, and perhaps time to reconsider the whole damned game.

The only other option would be to join the Jedi it seems, since they have the game by the short and curlies and everything is being handed to them on a silver platter.

Devs, the Jedi aren't feeling hunted, they aren't afraid to look into the shadows and see the BHs that are hunting them, they are laughing their arses off at how safe and sound they are - not through their own efforts but simply because they have the easy life handed to them. I am sure there is little threat to a Jedi these days. BHs might be an annoyance if you venture out of the Ryatt trail but since apparently you can macro your way up the skill trees in a few days there, who will need to.

I will say it again, Bounty Hunter is a dead profession I think, its just not buried yet. When it is buried, the marker will be somewhere on the Ryatt trail

are you sure your armor lost condition on kash. I am not flameing I am just asking. Reason being most places I have been on that planet you can die all day with no decay to anything.

I supported the CU till it became a cheap mockery of soo many other MMOG's
