I hope the max is atleast over 722 cause otherwise I wont be able to slice it to even 4%.. I would have to settle with a 2% slice... Which would mean a 708 max damage + 169 acid = 877... Too low if that is the case
Maybe. But I am pretty sure an 877 max Kinetic would hit harder than a 1063 max Energy against a PSG. If you test that, let us know.

Agreed. I am no longer a BH, but as a BH I had two Czerkas made that were far better than any Nyms I know of. In both cases I used 160+ gorax shards.

I submitted a bug report and a CRS ticket. I wanted to give everyone here a heads up though... Dont slice the Nym's Carbine cause it doesnt do jack ATM. Thank God power cores are a common BH loot drop these days.
Can you tell me what the Wound % was on the Nyms you tried to slice?

On the plus side, if it didn't change at all, then at least we know the cap for the Slug-thrower is 696.
I was under the assumption that one cant slice it for dam/speed if the weapon cant "take" it... As far as it being capped at 696, I had a few people tell me they had 700 - 720 Nym carbines... Perhaps they were pre-CU... I dunno.
When my ticket gets answered I'll let yall know... Maybe a CRS can confirm that the cap was reached or the gun was bugged...

Right? I guess I got some bad karma now... But for what it is worth, I didnt personally scam the nub... He put it on the bazzar for 10k... So I bought it
Well the smuggler who did my gun was able to get it to 8% w/o any error messages... And, being the max damage on mine was 695, the first 2% slice should have worked (708.9)... I also heard that once you reach cap on damage your min damage will be the only stat improved... I had no min damage improvement...
So far I conclude there is a bug at work... However, $10 says the moron CRS who gets my ticket will give me a canned response and not have a clue about what the problem is
