Why the hell not?

At first...I thought this was an exploit as well....
but after further testing my own skills....I learned I could effectively do the same thing.
Its not an exploit...its about learning the speed of your timers. Different skills have different timers. Combine a few skills in the right combo and you can pull off a HAHRUUKEN!
Learn to play the game at:

The exploit is being able to spam the SAME attack over and over again.... not cycling thru different attacks
I cycle through using adv quickdraw and get accused of exploiting. But if you look at my timestamped, detailed combat log the attacks don't repeat and they aren't every second more like every other.
Jedi SPEED is broken
FACT
The so called CHEAT is a workaround the broken speed
FACT
When they fix Jedi Speed, THEN and ONLY then should you complain.

The last is not a fact. We can and should complain about any cheat. Do Jedi really feel that they should be able to hit with their most powerful attacks over and over again every second? I've been spammed with their hardest hit before and there is really no way to live through it.
I'm really in the dark about how Jedi speed is broken and what it's supposed to do and how it's not doing what it's supposed to do. What speed should they be hitting at and with what attacks?
yea have to give you that one. I too have no clue other than what I read, but it's bad news. Tell you what, remove this ability to spam the attacks, restore speed to how it should be and we all go about our lives in harmony.

Not my bag
just coz you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD. if somebody needs to cheat to get by in the game good luck to 'em, I like to play it how it was meant to be played.
i like shopping for good armour, weapons and SEAs to build my toon up and trying out new tactics. i don't want some macro that makes me 1337, where's the fun in that?

Eye for an eye rationale doens't seem appropriate to this. While revenge is a natural emotion, and losing to a cheater is not only annoying, it's wrong... still... I disengage from fights where people use these types of tactics.
My stance has nothing to do with revenge. it mearly has to do with turning the tables on the cheater. So far I have yet to use any of the macros in PvP. However if I' m going aginst an opponent who's hitting me for 800 every second I WILL pop a macro and hit him right back for 900 every second. There fore I'm effectly taking away any advantage the opponent had.
If that's not a good enough solution for those who "never ever cheat or exploit" you may as well stop playing right now. This bug/exploit has been around for quite some time, and for the time being the devs and CSR's have made it quite clear that they either can't or won't do anything about it.

Never had the "pleasure" of coming across this yet, but you seem to have a point that nothing is being done about it. Easiest way to sort it would be to remove all macro's from the game (tough luck on lazy people and on the entertainers, but I've always been ata loss why people subscribe to let there toon stand AFK - macro's suck, end of story).
I've beaten every BH that has come for me with ease, and not had a fight last over a few minutes and have never had to resort to exploiting or cheating like those using the timers (same with hunting Jedi - proud to say my side of every fight is totally fair). If they are found doing it, they should not be banned, but have their whole profession wiped
Just my 2 credits

This is so sickening -- I get hit with body hit or head hit every second
Why does this game even exist when the idiots at SOE cant fix game breaking F'n issues. As far as I'm concerned I just pulled my last mission.
I see the blind eye turned towards all of these cheats and exploits as an insult to the players that actually want to play the game. As my final statement they can send this game so deep the sun will never hit it again

Ps: Every hunter on every server should start posting lists of these cheaters until we all get banned
Perhaps if you learned the ins and outs of your chosen profession instead of immediately crying exploit you would realize that you can do the exact same thing. If you put half the effort into learning how to be a BH as you did into writing your rant then maybe you could find the solution. It's out there.... I've seen it, furthermore I have used it. Learn the game before you make yourself look more foolish.

It really is a known issue. People can learn their profession all the want, but if the opponent is "cheating" then there is a decision to make: A.) Cheat back, since the other did it or B.) Not cheat, and report it both to the CSRs and here.
