Thread: Excuse me while I vent a bit...
well i for one welcome all bh visits, its fun, it gets my heart racing, its always a bit different depeding on the situation, tactics can change from one encounter to the next. i usually win but i dont mind a loss, and i /bow to a bh who plays smartly and gets the better of me , ie timing and patience.yes i will run if tactics call for it, doesnt mean i wont fight later just means that for whatever reason the situatin calls for a retreat till thethings aremore in my favor, i wont stand and duke out till i die if i can help it, that is just dumb if you ask me. its all about having fun and thinking quickly. only thing i hate is losing cause of bugs or lag but i guess that cant be helped with soe in charge ehh.

Bah I can see trying to explain this to you is futile.
What's to explain? Visibility is a risk you take and being hunted is the consequence. But it only happens if you choose to use your Jedi abilities. If you don't want to be hunted, don't use them where there's any risk you might be seen - save them for instances if it's that much of an issue to you. Or accept that it's the inevitable consequence of your choice, take it like a man, and stop blaiming others for it.
Awwww... let's have a pity party for the Uber-munchkins who can't handle the downside of their profs. I guess you can either be a coward and hide in your house to avoid vis, or be a coward and hide in your house to avoid BHs... ![]()
BTW, the Avatar platform is instanced - do the NPCs there generate vis?
it was tongue-in-cheek...as if a jedi isn't going to get vis (except maybe the CL1 jedi crafters i know)
its not much of a CHOICE thats all.. ![]()
I wasn't aware that people's characters were being respecced to Jedi without their knowledge and consent... ![]()
Those 18 weeks at the Village must have been very confusing to you. ![]()

still have in mind: THEY HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN, WHEN FIGHTING YOU!!! They ARE NOT your content.. if he runs, take it as it is... you are better then they had expected.. so take your proud out of this.
Then why did the Jedi choose to be on the terminals? Jedi who don't wish to be hunted by BH know exactly how to avoid it.
Getting on the terminals is like getting pregnant - it doesn't happen "accidentally", we know exactly what causes it.
Hehehe, not quite, they choose to risk being hunted in exchange for the fast XP of grinding on dant. We all know what happens on dant, plenty of NPC's and intentional drive-by visings by other players. Ive been in groups which have had Jedi in them and entire groups of 8 players that were going to pass by have changed course to drive through our lair and then resume their previous headings. Even had one guy yesterday come and stand in the lair itself and then go linkdead. But anyway, just because they choose to take the risk does not mean they actively want to be hunted so expect them to run if you get the upper hand, after all its kind of a no brainer - run and live for another day or stay and lose 50k+ of XP?

No, and I have no interest to... but that still doesn't change the fact that the mechanics for gaining visibility are known and there is no way anyone else can make a Jedi gain visibility. It's all up to the indiscreet Jedi and his choices.
You choose to use your powers or flash your saber in public? Then you choose to allow yourself to be on the terminals and that choice means other players will hunt you. Don't like it? Then either be discreet or play a different profession.
Wanna bet? I was in a group a couple days ago, and we were near someones house, he came out of his house and stood beside our group, on purpose just to give us vis. He even admitted this. That's just one of the examples.
well jedi are hated, I know alot of people (non-bhs) that would do that because they don't like jedi. Maybe jedi need to rethink theirpublic relations.

So, according to you, once we become Jedi, we should do nothing at all. Yep we choose to use our sabers, and the force. Sorry, but if we didn't, we would be able to do nithing but stand around in starports spamming "Lots of loot for sale that I got with my alt". WE DO NOT CHOOSE TO BE ON THE TERMINALS. There is just no alternative. Especially since NPC's will spawn right on top of you, in the far reaches of the talus mountains when you are soloing huf duns and humbabas. nope, we just don't have a choice, we are going to be on the terms. Yes we have a choice to be jedi, but you have the choice to be BH's. Yo chose to be BH's, now live with the concequences, if we log out, sorry, you chose to hunt us.
I earned Jedi, and now that I am full temp, BH's are the only thing that is worth logging in for. You're gonna love this too. It is MY choice how I handle the fight. BH's have no control over this. If i choose to run in circles while I channel and regain my ham to hit you again, I can do that. If I choose to sit in my house with a /wave macro going, I can do that. I can run into a base, I can stand and fight, I can payyou off, I can intentionally die. The BH will never be in control, you may win, but you will never be in control. Funny thing about being chased, you are always in the lead.
Don't like it? Then either [get used to being controlled] orplay a different profession.
