Thread: From a Jedi's point of view... (long rant)
I didnt read everyones replies...Dont care to not a BH...but great post man. Some of the most t hought out, detailed writing I have seen. Well argued.

Although all the "can't grind solo" stuff I hear from alot of jedi's I don't understand. I was grinding pre cu and the first thing I got was channel force, except for one trip to the dj enclave with a group been solo all the way. Granted 1K xp at a time is slow but it ain't a race, last thing i want to do is end up like alot of jedi I know wondering what to do now, most would welcome bh's.

Read the whole topic and you will see the original poster makes a point why this is necessary. And if you are targeting people like him, you are one of the bottom-feeding BHs - take on a fully templated jedi and they wont run.

No Jedi currently is BH proof. But full templates usually have better counters to your attacks than fresh padawans do, so just running in with blazing guns wont work anymore, you need to realize its not about killing the health bar as fast as possible, but about killing the Force bar. You cannot outdamage Jedi heals, but you can make a jedi run out of heals.
Killing low-level Padawans is just looking for easy fights and "I win" buttons. Its like dueling a Master Marksman with Master Rifles / Master Carbineer.

You are playing a BH because you obviously enjoy PvP, and if you are targeting Padawans, you obviously also enjoy easy fights. Thats all there is to it - BHs enjoy stalking targets and hunting other players who consented to being hunted by getting visibility, and they never know when or how a BH will strike. If you took (or maybe respeced) into the BH profession just to kill off easy targets, you took the wrong profession.
There is a reason why SOE is thinking about removing Jedi names and payouts from the terminals - they dont like bottom-feeding BHs.

Nope. Im playing a BH because I hate, hate, HATE Jedi. They have ruined this game and Im doing something about it. If I wanted to just " pvp ", I would go overt and stand outside a Starport. But you can't do that now, because some super alpha class Jedi gank squad will show up and own you.
And the only reason SOE would think about removing Jedi's from the terminals, is because they are a bunch of Jedi loving suckups who realize Jedi = Cash Cow. So heaven forbid, we don't want anyone to think this game is about anything OTHER then Jedi's do we ??

Exactly the part I highlighted in your post will ultimately lead to you not being able to hunt Jedi. Why are you so upset about a game, why cant you have some fun just PvPing? Its not the players fault that Jedi are so visible and have to grind in groups.
Post-CU time is grouping time, btw - if you run around overt and alone, a gank squad will kill you no matter what you do. And guess what - it wouldnt be necessarily Jedi. On Ahazi, the Jedi / non-jedi ratio in the last fights I saw was about 1:4.

Exactly - that is what was happening pre-CU. This will not be happening post-CU. 10 Jedi currently are not able to kill a group of 40, and they wont be able to after pub 19, either. So stop beating on the Padawans who cannot defend themselves very well and have nothing to do with pre-CU Jedi.
A Rifleman / Doc with some Carbineer, Pistoleer or Smuggler for roots is a much bigger threat currently than any Jedi.

Just get together with rebel PvPers and try it again. You sound like you havent tried to take down a base post-CU.
