thats true. I just thought of something - would i be better of going MBH/Mrifles/4000CM?

Sorry I didn't see this post first.. Anyways, that's my current temp right there. Just wait for those Pub19 boosts to nonJedi healing and this'll be one tough cookie. Now, only problem with this template is having no roots. Which means you're never really going to be able to put range between your target and yourself unless he doesn't have FR or doesn't use burstrun. I'd rather have the damage and range for large scale PvP though because I really don't care much for Jedi hunting and what not. To be honest, I kinda liked being my little TKM/BH3000, taking synthsteak, and beating most Jedi.

Friend of mine is a TKM / MSM / Doc 4000, and I tell you what, he is the best tank I have ever seen....ever...So if your going for pure tank / damage, the above is a good template. However your template will suit you just fine if you looking for Damage / Support type role. Because you really didn't give very much info, it's hard to say which direction you are leaning towards, but Anything that is mixed with Doc usually works pretty darn good.

Indeed. I always laugh at people who decry "dabblers"; the whole point of this system is that your supposed to pick and choose whichever skills you think will make your character one you want to play. Shug_Ninx said so in the original manual

The problem isn't "Dabblers"...it's the fact that you get almost the same thing for a lot less points. There is only a very small difference between Master and 4/x/x/x....and that is where the problem is. CM's deal with it, Jedi deal with it, heck even "Combat" classes deal with it. It's one of the few things that I honestly dislike about the current state of the game. It's almost like master isn't worth what it use to be. And that is for more then just the medical type people.

But your right, the whole point of the system is the be a Dabbler...but in the end, there has to be some type of middle ground. What we have with the Medical Professions currently is far from the middle. Ask I said, dabblers hold *Almost* the same power as master, and I'm sorry, but that's just not right.

You'd be surprised at how much that little advantage can mean in certain situations...heck, I'm still a Master Medic even though they changed the tree...I just like the idea that I have every skill associated with healing (including all four of the FS branches).
