Let's hope it doesn't really end up applying to this game though. Because as things are.......

It's not that the number of Jedi have gone up. Just that now they are forced out of hiding. But it's all good for them, they just walk around with lackey's now.

I know I have seen this answered before but I can't find theads now, please forgive me. I am trying to understand the dynamicsbetween the bounty hunter and his missionona Jedi.

1. How many bounty hunters can take the same mission on a Jedi at a time? (as I understand it this is unlimited, if 100 BH see your mission on the terminals and they all want to try and kill you they can, good luck).

2. If the Jedikills the Bounty Hunter that has a mission against him,the BHloses the mission and can not try again until you show up on the boards the next time, correct?

3. If 2 is correct what about the other bounty hunters that had the same mission, assuming this can happen, do theylose their missions as well?

4. If a bounty hunter catches you off guard and you have a secondary combat profession which you use to kill him you should not gain visibility, assuming no lightsaber or Jedi powers were used. This seems like it should be a duh!, of course type question but confirmation would be nice. (I am thinking something along the lines of a young padawan, who hasenough skill points left that they kept TK in reserve or someother combat profession, standing line to get buffed and out pops the BH, the padawan, equips his trusty VK and wins the battle using his TK skills only. No visibility, right?)

5. If someone other than the Bounty Hunter kills the jedi, the bounty hunter retains the mission and can try again, even if this person is grouped with the Bounty Hunter.

That is all I have for now, if I think of other questions I will add them later.

1. I haven't verified this personaly but word is 5, although a jedi can have multiple unique missions on them at once.

2. The BH loses the mission but the mission hasn't been complete so the jedi is still on the board.

3. If the jedi kills the BH other BHs aren't affected.

4. Sounds reasonable, I'm not a jedi though so I have no personal experiance there.

5. Yep.

1) 5 missions may be out at once.

2) Bounty Hunter loses mission, I've heard that the Jedi does lose some visibility points too. Although this can't be verified as most Jedi are quite visible once they get on the terminals. BH can pick up the mission and come get you again though.

3) Once a mission DB is dropped, all missions are wiped from dpads and visibility is reduced to 0.

4) You only gain visibility by having a lightsaber equipped, using a lightsaber, AND using force powers. You can TK, Fence, Pike, rifle, pistol, craft, whatever all day long and not gain visibility for it.

5) Only BH to lose the mission is the one who dies.

me and guildies tested this.

1) 5 out at once

2)Once Jedi kills the BH. Jedi is off the terminals. Has worked like this so far. The BH must have the active mission on the Jedi.

3) Once a BH kills the Jedi. Mission leaves datapad and Jedi's visibilty is reduced to 0.

4)Non Jedi skills do not give Visibility. Robes do not get you on terminals. Only Lightsaber and force powers.

5)All BH's with the mission "should" lose the Jedi mission. (Devs said this) Currently bugged.

*****All of the above are very buggy and may not always work.

I'm a Master Bounty Hunter on the chimera Server.....

1. I've read and heard that 5 BH can have your mission although not sure about that.

2. If the Jedi kills the Bounty Hunter his mission is failed but can go and grab your mission again and be right back at you.

The Jedi that the Bounty hunter has the mission on must DB the BH or the mission stays active sohe basically could come out of a cloner and attack u as the TEF is still there.

You killing the Bounty hunter does not remove u from the terminals and most likely causes u more visibilitey.

If the BH kills the Jedi he recieves his pay and Mission is complete all other BH that have the Jedi's mission get Mission Incomplete and the Jedi is removed from the Terminals and visibility is cleared until he somehow gets on them again. (I've checked for Jedi that I've killed to see if they were on the terminals. Did 50-60 refreshes without seeing their mission.)

3. I've answered this in 2.

4. I would assume that you would not generate more visibility by not using your Jedi skills against the BH but since we cannot see exactly how much visibility you have before you fight a BH with Non-jedi skills or afterwards theres no real way to tell.

Only way to confirm this is if a Jedi defeated all the BH's that came after him without using Jedi skills and all of a sudden disappeared from the BH terminals. However in a sense this is almost impossible as you never know when one will come and you could be in the middle of leveling your Jedi with saber powered up fighting mobs which would give u more visibility.

5. I have yet to hunt in a group and cannot answer this one but I assume that if someone else in the BH's group DB's the Jedi the mission is still active. Personally think that anyone in the BH's group that does the DB completes the mission. If they purposely do this to kill u multiple times and force u to clone IMO it's greifing the BH would not recieve any pay for this.

Hope this clears up some misconceptions and it's possible the above situations can get bugged so they do not work as they are intended to.

Tanks said something about missions, and BH clearings a long time ago...

so regarding point 2, and the mission clearing upon BH DB'ing the Jedi I believe it goes as follows:

2) if BH 1takes mission on Jedi X with a bounty supplier named: Jake the Fixer and BH 2 gets mission on Jedi X from bounty supplier named: The Empire, they would be considered 2 seperate bounties and clear seperately.

please let me know if this is untrue, ut to my knowledge it is.

Thank you all for the responces. I had been considering bribing any bounty hunters when they come after me to let me kill them, but if it doesn't clear the missions and others can still come, it really wouldn't solve anything. Which is too bad, after all the roleplaying situation of a bounty hunter with a 100k mission being offered 500k to take a hit,has a lot of potential, if it was practical.

From what i thought taking a Jedi mission makes it the Bounty Hunter vs The Jedi. I keep getting all this oh he killed a member of his own faction. I dont care what faction you are. Its my mission to kill the Jedi regardless. But it apears my thought on it is incorect. Just curious to see what other people think.
