Yeah, and Han Solo tossed Boba into the Sarlac while blinded by turning around too fast. I guess Bounty hunters should be easily defeated by blind Smugglers wielding a pike, right?

But wait, my use of the movies trumps your use of Expanded Universe, as only the movies are technically considered canon by Lucas Arts - everything else is subject to change. Do I get a biscuit?

Author's note:
George Lucas has gone on record as saying that the entire Expanded Universe is technically a parallel universe. No official authors are allowed to use any time-period within the span of the movies, and in that, Star Wars Galaxies may be considered unique among the various EU off-shoots.

It really doesn't have anything to do with being a Jedi - in my personal opinion, there should be no force sensitive players in either the Empire or the Rebellion at this time. There were none in the movies. That does not mean that there weren't more force-wielders in the galaxy, nor does it mean that they did not use lightsabers. I would have preferred the term "Jedi" be avoided by SWG. But it was not my call to make.

I would have also preferred to see a better death mechanic, such as droids gathering a "corpse" after a couple minutes, and dragging it back to a bacta tank. My opinion was not asked in the making of this game.

I do, however, dislike the notion that force sensitive players are such easy prey for just about every other PvP combat template in the game.

I would have personally preferred to see a force jump given to the force sensitive players that was essentially just an instant jump to the nearest combat oponent (thus negating a lot of the range benefits for blaster-users), and that those sensitive to the force would have better block/reflect capabilities. Even after a short period of training aboard the Falcon, Luke was already learning the rudiments of blocking blaster shots.

Threads like these are almost as retarded as the old "Starship Enterprise vs. Imperial Star Destroyer" arguements that pop up every so often on the Starwars.com message boards.
