In the past I have received bounty XP and Payout without actually finding my bounty first. What was happening i found is that if i took a while to get to my bounty or in some cases logged off and came back later... somebody else killed my bounty in the mean time. Since i had the mission i still got credit for that bounty. This is how it works for NPC. Now for Jedi I understand it's different to some degree and you would want to ask a more knowledgable player about that.


My biggest frustration is when my bounty appears inside a tree, or some area where I cannot attack him. If anybody knows a way to fix this let me know, but as far as i can tell when this happens ive had to just cancel my mission and go get another. Ugh, huge waste of time.


also a question for some of the more experienced, I was BH 2444, pre CU, ive come back to the game after a few months leave, when I left I had already accumulated the AP points I would need for MBH once I got 4444, well now that its changed I need a load of combat XP and my AP points dissappeared? is this just something lame that ill have to deal with or is there some conversion for my old AP points? ugh, oh well.

Yeah, sorry about that. I haven't played muchrifleman, other than a brief respec.


The guide is also geared more specifically toward bounty hunter, ratherthan your overall play experience, and therefore doesn't reallyhave much about complimenting professions.

I also had an NPC mark die on Dathomir just as I showed up to the mission waypoint. I got the credits and drove away without ever stepping off my bike.


Also, I've had a mark spawn right behind me as I picked up their mission on the BH terms. That was fun.

awesome guide btw....but I have a question, why is it when I get a mission from a bh term....the mark is always 10-15 combat levels above me? I just got Novice Bounty Hunter...how am I supposed to get BH experience if I can't even kill my mark.....

That's a change with the CU. You'll need to level some more weapons skills firstto do the missions. Pre-CU I got the LLC line and used that to take out my marks, but you may have to do pistols and/or carbines too. Investigation takes a long time so you may as well pick up the weapons now and have it easy.


Also, if you don't want the BH weapons skills, level whatever other combat skill you are working on. I would shoot for master of your primary weapon skill, as it comes in handy, and then start working on investigation.

i had this prob too. and im almost master. just unequip ur weap b4 pulling mish. ull get a doable mark that way.

If not already mentioned Bomb droids work now and they work great on floaters.

If you don’t target it before it goes into the water your going to need to jump in and sink your camera to find it. You can also DB while in the water

Kind of shady tactic.

Ok, I hate to be the barer of bad news but we are nearly cooked as far as Master BH informants are concerned. The only one I have found that is where he is supposed to be is on Talus, in Dearic. I scoured Naboo, and Tatooine, and got Clone Camped on Corellia trying to find a Master Informant.


I am glad I found one on Dearic, but the problem is, it is also a rebel trash controlled planet, leaving the Imperial Bounty Hunters in a sore spot if they come to the planet active. This is a problem Dev's, we Masters need a few more informants, or at least the one's back that we used to have. Mos Eisley's contact is gone (as everyone knows), but Mos Taike's is also missing, and Wayfar's are also low level contacts all of a sudden. i spent 3.5 hrs just trying to find an informant, and man was I p!ssed. I wanted to Hunt, and couldn't even get a Bio-Sig because of lack of contacts, I am a Bounty Hunter, I do not play hide and seek, I play Seek and Kill, so please give me some informants that I can get to on ALL of the starting planets, not just Talus.

Im currently a level 3 investigator and I was able to use the spy on lok at nyms 369 5087

Themaster-level informanton Corellia should be beside the Bela Vistal cloning center. Please look again(I may do so myself just to make sure - it's nice to confirm it before placing it in my guide, I'd hate to give misinformation).


As far as being overt, I'd usually only hunt covert, or start the mission covert, then go overt. There are more places you can change your special forces status than there are places where you can get your mission, so it made sense for me. As a bonus, I am now neutral, so for myself it's no longer an issue.


Still, I agree it would really be better if we got more informants for higher level bounties. I think their reasoning for less informants is that less people would know about the higher-level crimes. Still, this doesn't reflect our new Investigationskills which means we could beat the information out of even more unfortunate life-forms... if we are unable to convince them to share it otherwise, of course .
