The template that I'm currently running with is MBH/Rifleman4044/CM4004 with some Force Sensitive Speed lines added in. This gives me the awesome healing power of Combat Medic while also allowing me to +Snare+ them with Electrolyte Drain for 2 minutes. Also I'm able to Paralyze them and reduce their attack speed substantially. My favorite tactic is to hit them with Paralyze then Electrolyte Drain (doesn't break the root) and run outside of their range. I then land a Kneecap Shot to slow them to a crawl while kiting them.

Can you confirm which FS lines you have please.
Also, what combat level does that template give you? When you say "doesn't break the root", what are you actually rooting them with?

good work... but what the numbers don't show you is the extra help you get from things like armor certs, range of weapons, running spead with speed debuff from carying different weapons, and ofcourse abilities.......
According to the numbers.... MBH / MPist / SL 0404 ought to be the best template.... but it's not. Not healing, mediocre damage, and just a root to try and kite.
That's why I much prefer MBH / MPist / Carb 0440.... I believe it's the best of non-healing templates. When you factor in the extra abilites etc, it's best in my book. High sustained damage, plus you get a more powerfull KD than BH underhand shot, a Snare anda root. Not to mention the extra damage output of the Leg shot.
Look at it this way......
How much does 30 pts of melee def matter? About 10-20 pts less damage per hit. ( times 45 hits a minute maximum.... that's 450-900 pts a minute less.)
How much does an extra root/snare matter? About 2000-5000 pts less damage per minute.
Very true Algren_Earth-Stormer
I personally like my MBH/MP with Mmarksmen and Carbines 0-3-0-0 (for the improved leg)... Isnt the KD in Carbines an AoA?
