get 2 commandos and one melee havey defenc guy the melee dued goods overt
and gets hit and dies or runs then you tefers come up and one uses flame singel 2 and the other cone 2 at same time this works 100% of the time even if your commandos die they win
Don't always go for the 16m specials, you gota fewoptions with the flamethrower (includeing specials from the marksman weapons support line, that annoying one that cost lots of combat exp to climb). You have overcharged shots 1 and 2 (these basically pack the power of a rocket launcher into a 5 second delay at 62m, but if you use this be sure to pack plenty of stims, stack aim 3 times before each use, and prepare to miss ALOT) You also have suppression fire which is handy with the flamethrower aswell. You also have pointblank single and area, and verious others from the marksman tree (none of the bleeds or HAM specific damage ones though). I find that when overcharged shot 2 DOES hit, its a 1 shot knock out, like I said though, stack the aims at least 3 high before unloading that blast or your going to miss (mostly).
Also the good ol fashion normal fire is great in pvp, you just let yourself shoot, no specials or nothin and you do a good deal of damage per shot, as much as most pvp shots actually. Remember the Devs took the flamethrowers huge delay into account for its specials, thats why it does so much damage even without the specials (1500 in pve, 150-250 pvp, thats alot for an unbuffed target, and face it sometimes buffs AREN'T available for the enemy, just like sometimes they aren't available for you).
Just remember that your role in both PvE and PvP is heavy hitting support, if the meleers are chargeing your allies (or you) then by all means let them taste the flame. However don't lean on the specials alone or your going to get hurt.
You can also use the launcher pistol, though you should use its specials spareingly, it is a powreful weapon and can pack quite a punch (especially stacking 2 bleed shots). Again normal fire is your friend with this weapon because it too has a rather high ham cost (no flamethrower but high enough).
P.S: If you plan to use the overchargeshot2 trick, don't wear armor (or have lots of buffs/spice) and make sure your NOT under fire, this shot drains your ham bar FAST (250 health, the flamethrower has a high ham dispite the low cost of its specific specials). Sometimes it may be nessisary to go sniper style with it, lay prone (or kneel) aim alot and take your targets out 1 at a time.
Since I am a Master Commando and have some pistoleer skills I am working on, I try to do one of the following
Get within 16m and flame 2, flame 1 and see if they live, most don't.
Chase them down with my pistol and suppression, pistol whip, warcry, flame 2, flame 1
Hit thier mount or bike with a Rocket Launcher till it dismounts them, then use one of the above two tactics.
So I hit the guy with poison, and his mind drops to 1 (stops at 1) what do I do? ide rather not work on any marksman (i want scout for forage when im fishing) I have a broken Republic Blaster, allows any skill to use it. I just dont know how to get that mind shot
