Whenever I try and troll the forums I seem to see the same posts over and over. There is the melee vs. ranged arguement, the nerf Jedi thread, and many others that are repeatedly brought up. It's gotten to the point where not matter how the thread starts it almost always ends up that way. Now these are forums that we pay to use, you can say whatever you like, but these arguements aren't helping anything or anyone. We all know the profesion is broken, and we also know that sony is trying to fix it. Honestly Bh hasn't worked as intended since I started playing the game but thats been talked about so much it makes me nuts. I don't want to see our boards end up like the Jedi board with a bunch of whiners crying about how hard of a life they have. I guess what I mean is if you don't like it pick up another prof.
What I would like to see isBH's banding together to take down Jedi. We should use these forums to share ways in which we overcome all of these problems andstill succeed in killing our marks. Alot of us have gone melee and thats fine. Some of you swear by ranged and thats fine too. It doesn't matter what you do it's how you get your mark that matters.
I was wondering also if anyone has any ideas on overcomeing the dizzy/lunge combo that Jedi are useing to overcome our thakitillo?

So you're complaining about whining?
Okay... I feel that BH should be a solo effort no help from guildies or others. This makes hunting and killing said Jedi much harder but seems
more noble to me.
Besides every other bounty hunter on my server isn't my friend but my competitor and should be viewed as such.
I however, am not opposed to sharing tactics and techniques on such boards though... but I really don't want to be a big happy family.
Or for that mattter a big happy anything... I mean I kill people for a living... not group hugging...

Am I complaining about whining, or whineing about complaining? I'm not really complaining so much as asking for others to realize that we all know how broken we are and get over it.
I also hunt solo. The problem with hunting with a crew for me, is that the Jedi ALWAYS run when they see a group comeing. But, if I get ganked I'll usually show up with someone to help me next time.
There aren't many bounty hunters on tarq who hunt as much as I do, so I really don't have much competition, infact I may have been the only one to actually complete a bounty yesterday as I didn't see any of the names drop off the list.
I'm not asking for us to all comb each others hair and play with stuffed animals, I'm just tired of seeing the same post. Basically I really just want more people to hunt, and I think that if we shared more knowledge it would make it easier for others.
Btw... I like how hard and tough you are in your post about killing people and such and then your sig is PEACE lol

Sorry when I said "banding together" I didn't mean getting groups of 20 and wreaking havok. I only hunt solo. Maybe it's just a difference in servers, no-one really hunts on tarq. Not that I don't mind being able to choose whatever bounty I want. But I'm tired of unbuffed Jedi in coronet everytime I go there. I was just trying to think of a reason why no-one hunts, and the only thing that came to mind was that the boards are always filled with posts about how lame our prof is. I have fun damnit.

hmmm...a one star bandit struck you it seemed.
Must.....conteract....bandit......done
Anyways, I hunt solo (most of the time, If the mark is expecially difficult I may take a guildy or two along to help). I am not opposed to communicating with other BH's to help track down jedi. I would think that if bounty hunters could exchange information, for the hopefully short while left, exploiting jedi could be more easily taken down. This would be easiest through a BH guild, but tell's may work as well...
for instance:
BH who's on a different mission currently /tells me he just passed KnownExploiter at the Mining Outpost on Dantooine.
I quickly pull a mission on KnownExploiter from Naboo. I then send out a tell to other BH friends that I'm on the lookout for this guy.
I hop planet to coronet when I recieve a /tell from a new BH grinding missions out of (forgot the name of the city, the northern one on Corrillia where you can do BH missions). I quickly grab a shuttle there and am able to engage and kill said target.
A fairly complicated example, but you get my point. Of course, I'd also keep a lookout for any jedi that another BH may be looking for.
Edit: I'm testing to see if I can finally edit my posts. YAY! also, how can your guild be only one member? I thought guilds had to have 5 people in them to be active (and towns have to have 10).

A 5 star for Zorks,
This is why BH guilds should exist, not for gank squads but to help each other. Hopefully this wont be needed soon though as exploiting wont help them for long

I'm not very good at the whole macro thing so I'm asking for a little help. Can someone please tell me or write the commands for a Center of Being macro? Thanks for your help.

Ok,..I just made Novice Weaponsmith this morning, and immediately started making Metal Staffs to try and get some XP. But when I checked on how much xp I was getting for my grinding...I hadnt been getting any xp. Not one single xp. Still 0. And I had already went through almost 10k of Metal Resources.
Now, did I do something wrong? Maybe Im just not doing right or something?
Any input here would be extremely helpfull. Thnx.

Are you using a macro?
Assuming you are, when the macro finishes, are the tools showing little countdown numbers?

Now that you mention it...no they were not. I thought that was odd, but figured it was just another glitch

Check your macro again.
Someone posted something similar a while back and when they posted their macro it had a line in it to the effect of: /endCrafting...so it stopped crafting, lol
Check your macro against the one's in the stickies and make sure there's not a step off in there.
