this is very true but im sure you'll get flamed and called a cry baby for wanting to get rid of xp loss. but when you dont have anything to lose then you fight and have fun /shrug
Thats the thing it is not non consenual pvp, they agreed to it whe tehy became a jedi.
Would you see it the same if a BH lost XP for losing a fight? If so, then I'd say that this statement is true. I'd also say that they Devs should then take it to heart and remove some of those pesky investigation boxes for a loss. LOL
It's very easy to state that XP loss is just "part of the game" if it's the other guy's problem. I am 85% template, and I suspect that I can take most of the BHs that would come after me IF I were dumb enough to get on the terms. I have little left to do with the XP loss argument since I doubt that any BH can significantly stop me from getting the rest of the template done. However, I can look at it impartially and state that it IS a big issue for the young padawans out there.

i am a quite low lvl padawan here and i was also a bounty hunter,i dont complain when a bh comes to get me, no way, i talk to them, if they start an agument then thats there prob and if it gets heated they will get in trouble for it
yes i will run EVERY time, you wanna know why?!?!?!?
because you bh come after us jedi at LVL 80, i am a lvl 62 jedi padawan and bh still complain and moan when i run and hide, they ask why, i simply tell them look at your lvl pal, you are lvl 80 now look at my lvl i am lvl 62, do the math, i have less defense points, i have less health, i dont stand much chance against a bh right now.
heres the solution for bh/jedi relations.
MAKE THEM THE SAME AS NORMAL MISSIONS!!!!
you wnat to fight a jedi, fight one your own lvl or one a few levels below like on the normal mission terminals

well i have seen abh come up to a jedi knight and win, yes thats right 1 bh kill aknight,it was a fair fight both lvl 80, if you want to be a bh u must be a good pvper otherwise its a waste of time

you also have the other advantage of surprise, we can NEVER attack you before u attack us, that gives u time to stock up on pvp foods and drink, get buffs before hand and use spices, this leaves us poor padawans to with no enhancments less health and no foods

making bh go after around the same lvl target as yourself is the only way to make it fair
wanna go up agaisnt a low level poaddy lose a load of skills!!!

It's completely fair. Yes. Completely fair. What are they going to do, exclude people with high PVP ratings from killing paddies? How the hell do you expect a padawan to become an experienced PVPer? It's not going to happen because they griped and moaned about it here.
And any current low level padawan KNOWS that PVP is going to be an issue. They chose to unlock anyway. I knew it when I unlocked. Every Jedi knows it when they unlocked. A TON of Dev hours have gone into the BH/Jedi system. Normal professions are growing bitter that both of our professions have garnered so much time and attention. There is no reasonable excuse for NOT knowing.
Get over it.

Bounties were put in place to make jedi rare. It didn't really work. The game designers knew that they had to make drawbacks to being an alpha class so this was part of it. But now a large part of the fanbase (bounty hunters) rely on it for their content, so they can't just take it away.
But seriously we are on the way to an all jedi game, so apparently it's not hard enough to be a jedi and it's only getting easier with this next publish. I wish people that didn't like being jedi would just drop it and do something else. That would honestly solve alot of problems.

if paddies want to pvp they ask friends/guildies
i do all the time because i know will have to fight sooner or later
what i proposed doesnt stop pvp for low lvl paddies, it just forces bh to drop skills to hunt low lvl ones
i want to pvp as much as possible because its fun, but when a bh comes up to me and shoots me when they are a far higher lvl than me with no chance of winning, i just dont like it, i like fair fights, even difficult challenges, all because i will find these challenges on more than 1 occassion
you hunt low lvl paddies because u like to win, thats all, if you wanted money you would either craft of go hunting for hide/meat as a ranger or just a basic scout,a few days ago i earnt3 million credits in2 hours with my ranger character, how long does it take for you to find a mission that suits you (low level almost all the time) launch a droid, to find out what planet they are on, launch another droid to search the planet, find out they arent there launch another droid go to the planet, launch anoother and so on and so on, if they hunt on kashyyyk ther eis no way to track them, unless you go through EVERY instqance zone of all of kashyyyk
at lvl 62 i can just about beat a lvl 75 ish player, just about being almost no force
there is no chance for me to win vs a bh with the best armor, adked it all, a 7 million credit rifle and combat medic abilities, dont tell me there are few like this, that would be lieing, ive talked to a load of bh's and they have admitted they have adk'ed everything. with the best weapons available
ok if u dont like my idea then heres another
make armor useless vs a saber like in the old days
sabers in themovies can pretty much go through anything or at the very least add another protection on armor for lightsaber, give all armor sya 3000 defense max on most armors
bh armor considerably more because its supposed to go against jedi
it would at least give low lvl padawans more of a chance, and stop or calm downthe war of jedi/bh

I'm a Jedi, not a bounty hunter. What I said above still holds true.
Not only am I a Jedi, I'm a grinding Jedi. I'm mid-Template, that point people say is the most vulnerable for Jedi.
And I still say get over it. You knew what you were doing when you took up the saber. You knew Bounty Hunters would come for you. If it's too tough for you, drop your Jedi skills and become a Dancer.

Jedi are getting a heck of alot from publish 20. No group vis? That means you'll really have to screw up to get visibility. They should not cry anymore, but they will.
No jedi has really been able to answer this question for me....if jedi is so hard, how come it's one of the most common professions in the game? Besides that i think after pub 20 hits and half the BHs walk away from the profession (maybe to go jedi) jedi will be the single most common profession in the game.

ah but longer cool down times for healing abilities
i can bearly heal myself when fighting creatures let alone a bh and now they want to increase it
most of the other stuff i agree with tho

Nobody's answered it because it's pretty obvious.
They REALLY want it.
Difficult != impossible.

so once you have completed levelling your alpha class toon, then you'll consent to pvp. and then you follow that up by saying "i like the challenge" omg you are just pure gold bud
