Thread: Questions for Tanks have the Devs given any information on their end goal for BH-v-Jedi ballance?

May I ask what you still think is unbalanced? Keep in mind BH's are not the onlyprofession that fights Jedi, non-BH's fight overt Jedi's all the time. Where one Jedi template might be extremely hard to conquer as a MBH template, there might be another non-MBH that can kill the Jedi. I believe you were quick to point out all the time pre-19 that until Jedi healing advantage was taken away you would not consider BH missions being 1vs1 fights. Only thing different in our skillsfrom patch19 is we can actually do the same damage as you now, at a lesser range, less force, less action costs, less healing lol.


What else in your opinon needs to change to make the 1vs1fight even? Not trying to be difficultjust looking at the reasoning behind your "all things are not equal" combat wise.

What does a complete template jedi care if he loses 500K xp? I agree with you about jedi being powerful. They should be much more powerful than they are now. However, they should also be much more rare. I'm thinking like maybe 10 per server tops. You can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't let jedi be as powerful as it should be, but be as easy to obtain as it is now. (the toughest part is simply waiting for the villiage phases, that's not hard or difficult, just waiting)


Seem like the devs have taken the road of, lots of Jedi, but only slightly more powerful. Which IMO, is a travesty and a complete betrayal of those who are true Star Wars fans.

you said give BHs skill loss, not XP loss. Ill take XP loss to be "balanced"

You know the one thing that has to be said, CAN it ever be really? I mean do you want to see BH's go through a Grind from Hell (ok sorry pre cu lol) Kinda hard now and time consuming 36 mill XP-- loss of XP based on player bounty and not to mention very very hard items needed for your weapon?


I mean the word fair is very very very broad, lets also not forget that most people may not want to grind all of that for BH to be more equal to Jedi... right now I know alot of BHs taking out Knights and lower... Why do you need balance in that? Right now people can do it... (Now then if NONE could then I would give you the Kudos and say "Yep" its goofy).. BUT GUESS WHAT, It's not we have more then that going on right now. If just ONE BH kills a Knight then this entire balance crap should be thrown out for good.

Just wondering if you still think Jedi are balanced 1 for 1 with other combat template or just CM?
