It wasn't all that long ago that Bounty Hunters had their own /duel exploit, where they could go upto a mark, /duel them then attack without TEF being passed on, this allowed the BH to attack without the jedi being able to attack back.
You lot weren't asking for /duel exploits to be fixed back then
why would we? I mean it didnt affect us, it would be your job to get it fixed. i would have signed that petition. If a BH defended that bug, like Jedi defend this one, they are complete idiots.
btw i left before it was known, so no, i never used it or any sploit.

You fixed the BH /duel exploit within days....the jedi /duel exploit has been in game for months and months....you have still not fixed it!!!!!

We arent complaining that you can duel and then end it real quick. The way people are using it is an exploit, it wasnt made so you can find out who your bounty hunter is, it was made so you can have a duel, so we want the message changed. So, no dueling and end dueling is NOT AN EXPLOIT, however using it to find out who is after you is AN EXPLOIT.

You are darn straight Im serious. Im very tired of all the violent attacks on people who make any logical suggestionscounter to a stupid, whiningesk post about a completelyinvalid claim of an exploit. The \duelbug was an exploit when WE bounty hunters could Freeze a Jedi in their tracks via /duelandattack them unmolested. Thatwas an exploit.A Jedibeing aware that I am the one who has his bounty is not a fricken Exploit as it does not do anything to exploit the game mechanic to effect the battle. The bounty hunter still has the first shot no matter what and that is that.
And I am so tired of wimps who attack others with foul languagein these forums,knowing full well there is no rebutt.Yeah, Im saying "say it to my face if you are gonna say it"and giving my address. Ok, let's use common sense. Jedi are 1.5 better, BHs have first strike and it's suppose to make them on par with each other. Jedi gain an ability to find out who is attacking them thru /duel/endduel In the old days you used to be able to duel each other but ther was a bug and it would really hurt the Jedi. They changed it so you cant duel your mark and vice versa, so here we are today.
Now the message says You cannot challenge someone that is already attacking you, the same message you get when you duel someone that you are already fighting. It doesnt say "You suspect Hyperhypo is about to attack you!"
It is not working as intended, did the patch notes say "you will be able to find out who is able to attack you at any given time by selecting them and typing /duel? no it didnt. use common sense and stop being a puss

It is an exploit. You are trying to say that it's a feature for Jedi? If that were the case wouldn't they notify you via another method? Maybe an email or a system messagedelivered right when the Bounty Hunter pulls your mission. It's not like they wrote that message new for when jedi do /duel against a bounty hunter. It will say the same thing if you are both overt and you try to do /duel. It will also say the same thingabout someone you are already dueling. It's simply defaulting to that dialogue. If it were intended it would say something like "you have discovered that (blank) has a bounty mark on you and cannot duel you because he has this mark" or it would let you attack them outright.
It's amazing to me that you Jedi feel that you are so elevated above the rest of the population that the developers would simply give you the ability to find bounty hunters that were after you.

The most honesty I have read in this forum today was the person who said (And I paraphrase) "Its just annoying to have thatduel message come up all the time." Itis a minor annoyance at best.
Ya know what, IM a troll, a Jedi and avid PvPer. I dont use the supposed exploit you talk about simply because I know when I get hit and KDed I KNOW ive have a BH. And ya know what? I then know its time to kil him and I do, and if I cant I evade. Thats right I run. 22 BH have attempted my template and 15 have died. Lets just say that i havent always been a Jedi untill recently if you know what I mean and I still kick you "No-Talents" in the but even after you KD me from the start.
To the rest of you good BH out there I tip my hat to you. I run frrom youor I kill you but either way it is always a pleasure to fight you.
Thanks for generalizing. Im successful against jedi but this exploit needs to be fixed. But honestly it's equivalent to us being able to avoid your ability of stasis by just doing one move. It's obviously not intended and it's not game breaking but it's one of your abilities. Surprise is one of our abilities...it's been stated by the Devs that surprise is what can give us the ability to fight a jedi one on one. I would be on your side to get the stasis thing fixed. I don't support exploits but just because we are on the other side of the fence you don't support us.
