Djferio... We should hire Phelan to take care of the afk'ing jedi with his 96m mind poisons and diseases. He might be able to toss em over a wall

Hahaha good thing they fix that "Line of sight" thing with poisons and diseases cuz my jedi would die while im sleeping snuggly in my bed.

Its not an exploit, half the people who mastered medic, doc, or combat medicused the disease or burn pet trick to heal wounds and gain xp fast. If they ban this Jedi, I guess they have to ban, thousands will be ban.

doesn't really matter if it's exploit or not. the problem with using this method to level though is that this "jedi" will not know how to properly play his character. when he's finally thrown into combat he will have no idea what he can do and probably will get his arse handed to him in short order.

lol, that would be like me grinding out weapon upgrade kits to make master weaponsmith, then thinking i can sell my weapons for 5 mil each. i would be master ya, but i would also have no idea how to make a decent, much less a really good weapon.

the easiest path is almost never the right one.

There was a jedi on Scylla that was unrepentant about doing this. A BH got into the private PA Hall (I won't say how) and iced him. there were screenshots posted the next day. There are ways around "private" structures so you are not completely safe if you have someone on your trail who is crafty and resourceful.

Or they could make private large naboo and go on roof, but I believe AOE attacks might get him. Who knows and who cares if he can't play his jedi, right now hes playing it safe but later, he may or may not die.

i think if you're going fast enough, you can jam a swoop through the red field and get in... dont know if it works on pa halls...

I guarantee you that anyone who gets into a building and doesn't have access *is* exploiting - regardless of whether or not their target is AFK or not. I'd be in favor of terminating their account - they used an exploit to grief another player. (Why grief? Because they used an exploit to do it - that they cheated to kill someone is proof enough to me that their intent was not good game-play, but to cause trouble.)

Actually, hey- there you go, a form of perma-death for BH's: exploit your way into a private structure, kill the jedi, and get your account banned.

For my money, the AFKing thing would not be an exploit - there are dozens of other ways that people do this kind of thing, so unless SOE is specifically saying Jedi aren't allowed to do it, they'd be hard pressed to justify calling this an exploit.

Further, as many people have pointed out, this would be *slow*. The medic/doctor/dancer scenarios are *much* faster than any other option - the jedi one is much slower than any other option, so I'd say they're in the clear on this.

wouldn't it just be easier to go to the corner of some map and sample radioactive's and gain health/action/mind wounds and battlefatigue to use your heals on?

As a side note I just want to mention that the poster that saidthat exploits were not cheating until they fixed it
has an interesting veiwpoint.

By that definition, Murder is not bad as long as it is possible in real life, if they want to stop murder, make it impossible.

If the first is an exploit, then most certainly this is also an exploit.
