I just dont want to see Mandolorian Armor so easy to get. I think this Armor is special because it is rare. Jedi used to be special now they are as common as Bantha pooh. I think Mandoshould not be just given away like Jedi.
But don't get me wrong...I love the spirit of your idea.
ON SECOND THOUGHT...THIS WOULD BE AN ACCEPTABLE SYSTEM.
Just make sure someone doesn't exploit the multi-account alt kill scam...to kill Jedi.

You think killing 50 jedi is easy?
You know how long that would take?
Think about all the -
- Cloakers
- Force Runners
- Force Stasis People
- Grabbing a mission and tracking the jedi to find out he has logged off
- Tracking your jedi on kashyyk AND killing him. If you don't kill him you just wasted a huge piece of time.
- Jedi that jump off planet and log off at their house while you are STILL trying to find them on Kashyyk.
This kind of stuff ALWAYS happens to me.
That being said, not every bounty hunter is as good as others. Yesterday I saw a BH die to an AFK jedi. Me? Yeah I can get 50 kills, eventually. It's nothing you can do in a week though. Not at all! Theres some BH out there that take months to kill one jedi.
Ev, I like your idea, but perhaps we can become Mandalorians and get an extra character slot. We could get really cool ranged specials. Good defense bonus? It would have to take time to grind it out. Nothing you can finish in 1 day, if you know what I mean.Something like this would be pretty cool. For the armor, have it so Master Mandalorians can craft any type of Mandal Armor and Jetpack. So when a Master Mandalorian goes down, he can craft the Mandal himself instead of hoping the DE/AS or w/e won't jack your armor. I don't know but that would be really really cool to have something like this.

Wow, there are others who lose to AFK jedi too? I thought I was the only one, its good to know there are others. I've been a MBH since the CU, and haven't beaten a single Jedi to this day. (23 attempts, 23 deaths)
ANYWAYS, Yeah, the mandalorian concept sounds kewl, but I don't know about 50 jedi kills...and then another 50 and so on until you kill 500 jedi? By then you would have met every jedi on the server and would turn out something like this:
"Hey Frank"
"Hey Bill, time to kill me again?"
"Yep, samethingwe did the last173 times we've met."
"Gotcha Bill."
Also, what about a wookiee?? No one ever takes wookiees into consideration, how would a wookiee play a role as a mandalorian? Would there be Mandalorian Wookiee armor??

This armor is special unlike Jedi...please keep it rare.
So...then wookiee's are out of the question?

1. only attack if you have achieved complete and utter surprise.(meaning you can frontload a alot of damage). This will guarantee the jedi to be in a defensive position after the the first strike. You have forced him to think of only two things at this point, running or healing first AND then coming after you. .
2. Only engage if the Jedi, in addition to being completely surprised, is not buffed or his force is down, or he is engaed by MOBS or creatures. Even if you achieve utter surprise like #1 above but the jedi is not in a tough spot (in other words he is buffed and not distracted or engaged by other PvE activities) you can still lose dramatically even if you cause massive damage before reaction, so DON'T engage and follow this rule.
3. Learn about foods and how they best compliment your personal template, seek out high energy resit armor, slice it for Armor break if possible. Find a good weapon with high damage that you can slice for speed. Add a power up to the weapon to let it produce even more damage (so cap damage with weaponsmith and Power up, slice speed).
4. Add a duelist macro (this is very important as it adds 250+ defense) this will help alot as well :
/duelists;
/pause 26;
/alarmaddin 0 0 STOP, DUELIST!!
/pause 1;
/macro Duelist
Be sure to use the following for deathblow so that the macro does not interfere:
/dump
/deathblow
The Jedi are no longer grinding at the wookie

Use these tactics and you will get your first win...good luck:
I do not fight like I advise anymore (I can now run up to a Jedi and just start blazing away with success) but that has come with getting more experience, what I recommend here is what you should do for the first 10 kills or so, then you can start to develop your own style and tactics....

If you follow these two rules and drop the mission whenever you can not engage with these parameters, you will achieve success . There is nothing wrong in doing this. This is the BH way and Jedi's are 1.5 stronger for this reason.

Thanks alot for the help, I'll try it, though chances of success are still estamated to be low...I'm one of those wookiee's who aren't exatcly what you might call 'lucky'...I'm more of the kind of 'lucky' that you name your dog which then gets hit by a car and dies....that kind of lucky....but then again "In my experience, there is no such thing as luck" so I'm gonna give it a shot anyway, thanks for the help once more.
to the OP: no ones gonna hand you mandolorian....you people want everything handed to you....

And Comparing Real life to SWG is no go bud, Real life and SWG Are Two Different Things..
I like Everitts Idea, IT sounds really good...
Like i heard awhile back if people want to be jedi let them be jedi, IF people want to be mandalorian Let them be Mandalorian , Afterall we do pay for this game, we should get what content we want.
