they arent a species, but a race, and whatever you read is more than likely fanfic, which has no bearing whatsoever in anything StarWars related.

LOL, wonderful. So does that apply to whatever source you got the info that they were a race from too?

sure, if you count KOTOR as fanfic, i guess it could be considered that, except for the LA logo at the beginning, noob.

Evritt, as much as I've always respected you I think this is the worst idea you've ever had. Why do people refuse to keep something like Mando rare? EVERYONE has the ability to get it! I do agree that the drop rate of the components should be upped, but I really dont think the way its gotten needs to be changed.

This is probably one of the very few things we have thats even close to cannon in the game. Theres nothing stopping anyone from getting mando outside of time and lots of hard work.

I actualy played the first 1, though I dont remember where it says their a race. It has been over a year though, but if you have the quote thats fine. Oh, and btw, SWG has the LA logo on it too, and see how many Jedi there are right now? I guess since its has the logo on it it is right. /sarcasm off.Great reasoning, noob.

Who's refusing to keep it rare? How many BHs do you know that have 500 Jedi kills? And if 500 is too few a number, increase it. 1000. I just think people should be able to get Mando on their own if their dedicated enough, not have to rely on other people.

Look whats happened w/ the hurricane. Their taking away structure maintainance because alot of people cant get on now. I feel incredibly sorry for those people and what their going throughand have donated to help, but my only point is I dont think you should have to rely on someone else who might suddenly not be able to play for who knows how long. Or what if your crafter who has your parts goes LD during crafting and loses it all?

Again, keeping it rare is fine. But the truth of the matter is, no matter how much people say otherwise, its simply not fair to have to rely on other people who things can happen to beyond your control to be able to get an item like this. Like I said, if you think 500 is too low, it can be higher. The number isnt what matters.

I disagree

I think that its much better playing the game with other players, thats the point of a multiplayer game. I would agree if they were to make a one player game with this sort of quest in, but I like to work together with a group of people to get to a goal. Relying on other people is the nature of the game whether you think it is fair or not.

I agree this is a multiplayer game. But your wrong in saying its fair to have to depend on someone else to get an item like this when we live in a world where things beyond our control happen to people. You shouldnt be punished if my computer messes up, and the other way around. That, is what is not fair. And seeing as there is no fool proof way to control people's computers, the weather, or any other game disrupting factor, that means it is not fair, despite what you may say, to have such a high end item that so much work goes into be obtainable in a way that requires another person whose game/computer/life may be disrupted by something beyond yours and their control. If you want to say life isnt fair, then I agree with you. But you are simply wrong to say it is "fair" to have a system in place for obtaining an item where you could possibly be punished for a malfunction of my computer.

Its not that hard to get a good 8 man group or even 2 that can get you down in the bunker. Lastnight I ran our weekly run with 11 people, and we only had 1 MCM! We made it over half way down before someone got stupid and attracted to much aggro in . If it hadnt been for that we would have crafted a mando piece lastnight. These are random people from multiple guilds also. If you have 2-3 people who know whats going on down there, then they can lead some awesome DWB groups. Next week I forsee a post CU piece of mando being crafted on Gorath

While I think your idea is outstanding...

I just dont want to see Mandolorian Armor so easy to get. I think this Armor is special because it is rare. Jedi used to be special now they are as common as Bantha pooh. I think Mandoshould not be just given away like Jedi.

But don't get me wrong...I love the spirit of your idea.

ON SECOND THOUGHT...THIS WOULD BE AN ACCEPTABLE SYSTEM.

Just make sure someone doesn't exploit the multi-account alt kill scam...to kill Jedi.

I never said was fair, I would agree life isnt fair. Things beyond your controll will happen whether you do it solo or multiplayer, things like computer crashoing could happen to you as much as me at the wrong time.

Its just the nature of the game.

Theres no need to make it soloable

***100 dead Jedi = 1 piece of bio-linked Mandolorian Armor:

***11 pieces = 1 full suit...1100 DEAD JEDI

***Allow Armorsmiths to craft it

***Mando armor would have new powerfulAnti-Jedi stats

THIS WILL KEEP IT RARE.
