I prefer honour above survival, tbh.
I prefer not losing XP above losing XP.

He did not lose xp and you did not get your bounty, therefore he won. Read Sun Tzu.

yeah all that grinding so he can swim around....
What is the point of jedi anyway? So you can have a glowstick and collect loot?
If you are not willing to accept and embrace the one true challenge of being a jedi then why be one? The only thing occasionally difficult on a jedi is being confronted by bounty hunters.....you don't need to be a jedi to accomplish quests in this game so why be one if all you're going to do is swim around?

It's similarly unrealistic to expect someone to let you kill them when it can be avoided.
It wasn't about "letting" me kill him. I don't expect him to come running out of the water on my account. I would however like to see SOE change it so people swimming in water are left vulnerable like in most games, if not more vulnerable then normally, then at least as vulnerable as he would be on land.
Yes, lets change some long outstanding game mechanic for YOU.
Jesus pvp much? This has been going on since day 1 and you thought it big enough an issue to herass a CSR over just now?

He survived... for now... <--------------------()
Also for the Probots attacking him, look at the screenshot on the first post: "*Almost* got him"

i can see wanting to go after this Jedi on another occasion, but if you persist on going after the same jedi, your gonna get yourself Banned for harrassment or worse put on the bounty terms yourself lol!
Just a thought tho

Why does a player choose to be a fencer instead of a swordsman? An armoursmith instead of a weaponsmith? A Jedi instead of a BH? Because that is their preferred playstyle, that is the profession that most appeals to them. Saying that "all you do is swim around" is kind of a ridiculous generalization, is it not? A jedi took a swim to avoid xp loss. Get over it, I'm sure it wasn't personal. I'm constantly reading in these forums how some ego-inflatedBH is congratulating himself to no end because he took advantage of terrain and environment to complete his mission and kill his Jedi mark. That's all this Jedi did, but of course when the tables are turned it's no longer viewed asfair or honourable. What's good for the goose... yanno?
You are missingthe point regarding "the one true challenge of being a Jedi". The challenge is to be hunted and avoid being killed. Turning and fighting is sometimes one way to best this challenge. Sometimes it is not. There is very fine distinction, one that not everyone hasthe tacticalcapacityto grasp.
