As for Rangers having an ability to uncloak a Jedi thru motion detectors, I disagree with that. That should also follow a similar rule set. The detectors are telling the Ranger that someone is there, but the Jedi Mind trick should tell their mind that no one is there. Kinda get where I am going? It's not like the motion sensors or the seeker droids are spraying the target with luminescent paint. In both cases, the machines are working properly and informing their masters that someone is present. In BOTH cases, the Jedi Mind trick should function as intended and fool you into believing that we aren't.

I do not have a problem with the Jedi mind trick idea. But it is supposed to work on the weak mind. I can not believe that every single species in SWG is a weak mind. We know that it does not work on Huts and it does not work on Quatto (I think that is his name). I do believe that everyone should be given a chance to see a cloaked jedi. Perhaps you are in theed and 70% of people are not able to see you and 30% can. I do not think one can mind trick an entire city....do you?

This was just posted in the Ranger forum by a DEV. My question is why can a Ranger Motion Dector detect a cloaked jedi and break their CLOAK but our seeker droids that can detect a Jedi cannot?

Because like you said in another post, when a BH comes for you, you just cloak and log off, no time to be able to chop off limbs with that tactic.

guys leave ranger out of this

jedi/bh thing is so screwed up no1 cares cept bhs or jedi (so all but 5% of players thank you SOE)

but still its about time rangers got to do something leave it alone or this will happen
