It is a safe haven for jedi. if it weren't BH would have a Player Track ability like rangers.
The problem with the "learn how to hunt" theory is that hunting a Jedi on Kashyyyk is, simply put, not worth the effort. A bounty hunter cannot shuttle the planet, he has to go through the entire JTL process. Once he lands, he doesn't know where to begin looking, these fabled "contacts" are not as wide as many claim there to be, and then, most zones have several different instances.
Now I would have no problem if my droid told me, at the very least, which zone my target was in, so I could do the footwork myself. But as far as I'm concerned, there are approximately 30 different possible zones, including instances, that this Jedi could be in, why am I going to go through all of this for a measley 120k?
Sadly that mindset gives life to the idea of hiding on Kashyyyk, but there's not much that can be done about it.

And never did I gripe about it, I have taken players down pre-cu in large groups but when I was done, I always made sure I sent a tell, letting the player know He help his own real good and sorry the odds where against him. 9 out of 10 times the player will start a conversation with you and let you know his mistake and shake your hand and go about his merry way. This game is based on the community. So please in the future guys, don't be upset with exploiters, dont let them ruin your game experiance. Just quitly walk away, report them and find another mark. This is all in general. not just for kash. But I garuntee any BH you have my word I will not run for the Bridge to hide, if I get low on force lol, I am running home. I may die ,but thats the game.
Just a small note on Jedi that do this exploit. Watch the movies, the Jedi are suppose to be honorable. only 2 at any giving time are part of the dark side.
Well im like alot of people here im both sides also, i did the trail for a bit, but again it was boring seeing most of the jedi's sitting afk with macros on, even had a few bh's come grind alittle bit on eclipse. But I thought about this, say ok you got a mark that's on kash and instead of going all the way down to the trail is there anyway up top you can do /target would it show up or no? Cause i know a few people on eclipse or as someone said instant-jedi i would like to take some xp away, for afking.
Anyone know if this works?
