Thread: How long does the fight have to last before you give up?
Love it, brought me a chuckle.

A /tickle would undoubtedly cost me the fight as I lost control of my character for busting up laughing IRL.
I don't know, maybe some of you should try that. If nothing else /tickle/ force run could put a quick end to the situation.
I'd be laughing to hard to give chase!
~ That reminded me of a story from when fishing was first introduced to the game.
A player was fishing on Naboo and not having much luck when another player - a Mon Cal - wandered by.
"Much luck?" he asked.
"Not really" said the player.
"Maybe I can help" the Mon Cal replied.
Before the player could enquire as to what he meant, the Mon Cal jumped in the water, swam out a bit and said "nibble nibble"!
I find a macro that goes:
/forceaura
/pause 35
/tell hareb'arl Aura has 10 seconds
works very well. 10 seconds before expiry, I get a nice tell and beep to let me know it's time to reapply. I click the button and the timer starts again.
Aura can be used while it is already active making it very nice to work like this...

I guess the main reason I'm not worried about healing all my force away isdue to the fact that with Aura, and Valor running you'll have a hard enough time hitting me often enough to really make me worry about healing. I need to do some research on food with regards to the time it takes for me to empty my belly. I might be able to come up with a food combination just for a passive defense which allows me to maintain action and mind regen mixed with ruby bliel and maybe throw some synthsteak in there, some kind of combination that will give my stomach time to empty before having to reapply the food/drink. I wonder if I can fully devise a "Ghandi Defense" that would be effective most of the time. I know that no system is 100% effective, but I am aiming this type of defense towards the majority of BH's. If I can be effective against 75% of them I would be pleased. Again I am not asking how to beat you, but simply for feedback on this type of defense. It's interesting to hear the different tactics and strategies from everyone.
this again can easily be combated by adding a paralyze running out 32m till your combats broke and calling out your pet varactyle. which anyone can call then tell them to attack the jedi. they are melee and hit surpriseingly hard. and are a good combo for any BH

Blob Candy, Bofa Treats, Spiced Tea for regens, Crispic and Pikatta Pie. - Can keep those running indefinately.
I have a few others I use for emergencies. That combo will leave me about 30-75% full most of the time, enough space to use the situational foods (Fire def etc).
Pixie if you really need it - I prefer to abstain on this one unless I have to channel a lot.
Well, from experience I was about to log for the nght with my Jedi , I had been PvPing and it was late and I had just gotten to AH to go combatant before i logged. I run into a BH, only I thoughthe was an IMP overt left over form the previous battle not a BH.
I fought him for 45 minutes when I finally said "dude this is going no where" . He agreed and then told me "I'll drop" that is when I realized it was a BH mission . So I think 45 minutes is about it for me, no matter what side I am fighting from.
I love doing that lol

Lol..I've been tempted to /poke, /hug etc, but it seems most BH's would just get more pissed off, and start talking trash, which I do not do, nor care to hear. I did have one guy (I forgot the name, the fight about bored me to sleep) he fought me for about an hour and a half, until I had to log out for RL reasons, so naturally he got the kill. I was less than pleased at losing that way, but RL is more important than some xp. I suppose one tactic could be to just outlastme at the keyboard..lol
I agree there probably is a lot of bh who couldnt see the funny sidetaking things to seriously when you die in a game is a part of the problem.
I for one had quite a laugh when I had my ass handed to me by a pre 9 jedi I had mission on. Im talking under 60 seconds. I had talked to him in the cantina. offered to buy him a drink beforehand, then we went out behind the cantina to fight it out, the guy was a good jedi, no robes on no sabre equipped, although he had his food well and trully up. I asked him if he wanted me to drop the mission, I have no issues with jedi like that. He said nah but lets get out of public, so we went round the back of the cantina, he slaughtered me in under 60 seconds, didnt db and sent a good fight tell. I sent one back with a lol I suck at pvp, and a few light hearted comments.
But heck im the type of guy who drives the wrong way round the track in racing games trying work out how to cause the most spectacular pile ups, Im the type of guy who for the fun of it will strap on a set of pink hot pants and run out to /slap a ancient krayt or Dark Jedi sentinel. I alsolike to test theemotes on enemynpc's when im combatant

I fought and chased a Jedi around Dant for an hour. When he finally left his house and we battled he said, draw? I so I agreed.
Mainly because the fight was never going to end, his mind and action are at 75%
My mind and action are @75 %
Our heath was tops with the buff crystal, so I figured might as well draw. After at least 90 mins of tracking and fighting and chasing I figure it be best to move on.
He did tip me 10K which was nice of him, but in the end it is about the fight.
well heres my way:
1. apply debuff's (mind and -40 speed)
2. apply dots
3. damage deal. with a speed pup i can get my damage/sac capped HLC to about 0.83 mod speed with over 1k DPS all you got to do is keep healing. oh and reapply debuff when needed same with dots.
due to you standing there just concintrateing on healing i dont think it would be to difficult. about what 10-30 min oh and i dont give up till one of us are dead (or 3 days has passsed and were still fighting)
