Hi all.
Was quickly reading the many posts about Jedi hunting. Need a few questions answered plz.
After you get your Jedi mission off the terminals, what's next;is it like a reg. BH mission with NPC's?
I'm currently at 3-4-3-4.
Do I used a "special" informant for Jedi's or is it the one that I'd use for my current BH lev? Also, I've heard of a exploit that Jedi's use so we BH can't used our droids to find them (something about being off-line?) Could someone explain me this and if there's a work around?
Any tips would be great to!
Many thanks.
Cheers,
Yes, it is like a regular mission with NPC's. You talk to the same Operative you would for any other Investigation 3 bounties, ie: Kaadara by the Cloning Facility, Mos Eisley in the Lucky Despot, and Bela Vistal in the Cloning Facilities. There is no special informant. Only differences between a Jedi mission and a regular mission are A) they pay more and give more XP, and B) you are tracking a player, not an npc.
And yes there is a bug/exploit that Jedi can and do use (though not all. Some are respectable) to make your tracking droids useless. If they log off and then on again after showing up on the terminals, your Arakyd/Seeker droids will give you a "Target is Offline" message whenever you try to use them. Once they have done this, your droids are useless until the servers reset the next day.

The droids are useless for that particular Jedi only. However, it is rumored that if you bank tip them (try with 1cr), then the system notices that they are online and the droids work.
Interesting......very interesting
Tanks, if that trick works...well, I'll take back every not-so-nice comment I've ever thought of. Not that I have many, but I'll take them back anyway.
I'd bank tip you 1 cr too...but you aren't on my server.

If this works we should brace ourselves for all the "you are all a bunch of retarted grieftard smacktard BHs" comments that are going to come when the Jedi realize their exploit doesn't work anymore.

lol...at least they are getting money out of it. I'll even be willing to give them 1000 cr if the trick does work.
