I will NEVER be Jedi. Most of those new people make the pilgramage are just that..."New". They have no history here in SWG, and are just running with the fad. Thier "Staying Power" is yet to be tested. In the mean time the Vets have already proven thier staying power, and are just as disgusted with all the Jedi as the rest of us. The Vets that are quitting are just finally fed up, and it wasnt the bugs and Nerfs that did it, those have been around since day one, its the explosion of Jedi and the obvious favortism they get to stay the obvious Alpha class, and ensure that thier numbers will just keep growing.
Start a Jedi free server and watch the old Vets come swarming back, and rebuild SWG while the Jedi demolish the other servers like a pague of locust.

Exactly. Prior to the Jedi Holo days GCW was alive and well. Literally 70 plus imps would gather at a moments notice to help protect one anothers bases from an impending attack. Was great times. We had informants joining opposing faction pvp guilds to tip us off at a moments when word got around they were gathering enmasse to attack ours or an allies bases.

So you see JoBo, a Jedi free server fixes nothing. If I wanted Republic Commando or Bounty Hunter, I'd buy a PS2.

But atleast there were people participating at some level other than the almost complete Jedi domination as now.
as for the "If I wanted Republic Commando or Bounty Hunter, I'd buy a PS2" remark....If we wanted to be surrounded by hordes of Jedi, we would play JKA.
Jedi free server is the way to go in my opinion. To try and regulate the Jedi population in the current servers as they are now, will only cause more problems. So dont try and regulate....just give us some place to go where we dont have to deal with them.

I am totally for this idea. However, it seems that most jedi are against this idea (mostly becuase they would be left with an all jedi server). And we all know that SOE usually gives the jedi what they want, and us average-joes get second class treatment. How sad.
I wonder if enough people requested this, if could be possible. And if so...where and how would someone go about bringing it up to the Devs? These forums quite obviously dont work.
I'd be glad to start that particular request.
