All of those weapons have equivilent speed and reletivly the same damage, though thier AP 2 weapon Laser Carbine is dern near as powerfull if made properly as any Rifleman weapon.

Not to mention they got a new weapon already, and it's a damn sight better than our equivilent quested weapon.

I'm Carbineer/Fencer, and while I agree that more variety in Fencer weapons is needed, Carbineer is even more gimped, heh.

It's not so much the damage type and AP as it is the speed at which Carbineers fire. At Master level, we only get +60 speed (effectively firing at our weapon speed.. a stocked Laser Carbine is 3.9 speed.. so a 4 second delay.. ouch!) while we Fencers get 90.

That said, I really feel that Fencers should get some love too. It's good for PvP, but these days everyone is PSGing and wearing Stun Armor, and a Gaffi / Vibroblade just doesn't cut it.

Who is to say... i doubt any of those will be implimented for player use since they cant be made in TC yet ( as far as i know )

People only found out about them through that tool that searches through the TRE files. There are 4 carbines abd 4 pistols. Using logic, i would say BH would get 2 carbines and 1 pistol, the pistoleers will get the other 3, and the carbineers would get the other 2 carbines. This way, BH would have 2 class specific carbines and pistols, and one of the pistols ( by description ) is favored by bounty-hunters. But again, I would say they wont be in untill Pub 11 since I dont even think damage type has been assigned yet.

Did anybody else see the "pic o' the day" for today that has the guy with a mando helmet (donno if that is what the whole suit looks like) and the a wierd looking pike. I heard a lot of rumors b4 pub 10 that there were new weapons and such (including cyborg arms) and if I remember right that is one of the new weapons. Supposedly there is a 2handed sword in there also, anybody got any info on this?

It's actually more than a bit strange that they put this in as a picture of the day. First of all, there's no confirmed full suit of Mandalorian crafted, let alone a color matched suit. Secondly, that weapon is not yet in-game. It's in the TREs, but neither the schem or the full weapons is available in any form outside of image.

There are 2 ways this image could have been produced. First, it could have been a Dev or QA playing around on TC or one of the internal TCs. That leaves the question of why they put it in as a picture of the day, though, considering these are user submitted.

Much more likely, however, is that someone swapped the image files for composite (or similar armor) with the image files for mandalorian and did similarly with that pike and some other weapon. Again, it's a bit absurd that they actually added this as the picture of the day, though, as these items would only have been viewable on the user in question's computer.

As for the Cyborg Arms... currently they only exist on Mellichae and one of his disciples. These are the NPCs you have to kill for the exit quest in the Village.
