it's only illegal in certain states such as CA, FL, and NY. It is considered invasion of privacy, not civil liberties, and be a felony. Just FYI =))

PvP event last night, a large group of 8 + another 3, in our group there were 3 riflemen, and I had a good rifle, nice damage PUPs, good accuracy food, etc. Then a jedi appears, and this is what happens:
4k energy protection, 6k elemental protection (a good shock trooper armor, I know I should've used a scout trooper armor but oh well), no armor break, 1600 damage per hit. I could NOT believe. And my melee/ranged defenses are pretty high compared to many defenses.
Then I ask my friends, it's the same. 1.3-1.6k damages. Most of it is energy damage I suppose, so a scout trooper armor is a must, with a shield generator. Maybe could reduce the damage to 1k as it's already stated.
One other thing we noticed is the extreme low damages we could inflict to the jedi (ok, this has always been the case, like 350-400 and maybe 500 with specials, maybe). Also, NONE of our roots (pistoleer one included), knockdowns (both carbineer and BH), debuffs (blind, bleed, dizzy, etc.) was sticking anymore. NONE. We battled 4 different Jedi that night, and the results were the same.
There is something going on.
4k armor is low. force resist states is a skill, also being ranged a mdef with valor going caps on ranged def. psg as stated above is only for ranged attacks.

gee, i dont think anyone would be smart enough to set up teamspeak, make a fake conversation, record it and then try to use it as evidence for soe...but you never know with those crazy bh. by the way, why would you record a team speak conversation. and better yet, why was it at that specific time?
#1 - go away jedi troll.
#2 - i have fought too many jedi to not know what the damage should be. 7985 energy 2250 psg and 6k across the board for elemental. No way have i ever been hit ANYTIME for over 800 without them using armor break. the MOST i have been hit for was 865 my MLS. 1100 damage is impossible with the armor stats that i have WITHOUT armor break. And i'm ready to bet that even with it wouldn't top 900.
#3 - other people have complained about the EXACT same thing

i dont think the FCC regulates teamspeak ... so i dont think recording conversation over teamspeak is illegal ...
what it is though is poor evidence lol... hear say is always poor evidence and always has to be taken as being "possibly true" ... even in my post i make sure to include the fact it was hearsay .. and that it was only what i "heard" ... the only truth would be to experience it yourself .. which i havent yet ... i dont think ...
Recording of ANY conversation is illegal, unless the participants know they are being recorded. Only way around it is to be in law enforcement and get a warrent from a judge.
FIXED.

whats a troll?!
a person that goes into forums that do not concern him looking for flame topics. why would a jedi come into a bh forum except to make idiotic comments?
SOME, i said SOME, jedi actually have something constructive to say, but they are very few and far between

Except this does concern him, you are calling for a fix to things that dont exsist other than your own ignorance. You are expecting a nerf to prevent jedi from doing 1100 damage, and since he's a jedi, it does concern him.
Many jedi with good pearls and a saber they made heavy on damage (but expensive on costs such as action) can easily hit for that. Couple that with accuracy drinks and the right CA's and you are going to get worked.
But then again, you can have a weapon damage sliced, eat the same foods and drinks, plus invest time in getting AA's and CA's............. Quit creating issues that really dont exist.

its an exploit involving adding additional cyrstals/pearls into your saber, past the limit of 4.
i recieved an email about this in game and i was warned which jedi to watch out for who are using this exploit.
And you confirmed they were exploiting how? Have you SEEN their inventory? Have you logged on and SEEN that they have extra crystals? Or could it be paranoid bh's that dont know how to fight a jedi spreading rumors and hate about said jedi ?

In most states this is true. Only one party needs to know about the conversation being recorded...ie: you recording your own conversation. The other party does not need to be informed of it. Now in some states, both parties have to agree to it. These states are California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington State.
Now surprisingly, DC is not on the restricted list. You'd think with all the politians there.....

Depends on the state in the U.S. buddy. secondly, It sounds like someone has something to hide. Even if it is technicaly illigle to record the conversation where he lives, good luck finding a DA to prosocute it.

Don't know about the UK law, but in US its ok as long as ONE PERSON knows they are being recorded...so like...the person doing the recording knows it, sweet, its legal. This is a standard tactic used by lawyers everywhere in civil cases. You are wrong, incorrect, please move along.
