This does work, but there is a rather lenghty delay. Or perhaps we are all just spoiled now from what we used to do, by popping right back up. I know I got to the point with KD recovery that I could tell when I was KDed BEFORE I got the message I was KDed, and I could hit KD recovery before the message...I never even ended up on my back. I just kind of stood there, and paused, waiting for the system to catch up to me. I smell a FIX...that's right FIX, not a nerf, with KD recovery. I suspect we get the "You cannot use Knockdown recovery...." because we are currently getting the wrong message. Rather NOT because we simply cannot "use it". I've seen a few people add dizzy and stun recover to their /stand macro. I would expect a fix on the way for a failure rate on those abilities as well.

If i remember correctly, the knockdown recovery is actually in the jedi progression tree either at initiate or padawan

KDR is in jedi initiate box

However, not even full temp guys get blind or stun recovery, which all other combat elites do. Only healer xxx4 has "heal all states"....

Make a macro that's /sit;/stand, and use it if it says cannot kd recovery while kded

It thinks you're not knockeddown, and using /sit it changes it making it think you're sitting down, or trying to, then /stand gets you up and running.

You can't use /stand straight off, because it thinks you're standing, but still kded.

Ok, as everyone knows KD has been really getting screwed up lately every other duel ill get a KD bug and even with my kd get up macro..

...It still bugs and says i cannot knockdown recover while knockdown, knockodn has screwed pvp up for a long time it use to be dizzy then kd and ud be stuck for like 12 seconds now its spaming the button for 15 seconds and hope they miss all there shots in that time peroid...kd bug happens to everyone but jedi/bh/melle the most because of the aura/DS/COB macros that make pvp more effeicnt. very very simple fix either remove knockdown, incrase the timers on those buffs or FIX THE BUG.

my old register messed up so now im stuck with the 05 one and ive been playing for 2 years
