Thread: Jedi behavior

What bunk. Knowing that you would be hunted may not imply that you want to be hunted, but by becoming a Jedi, you accept the fact that you will be hunted whether you want it or not. I don't want to get in a car accident, but by driving on the highway I know that I may get into one, and I accept that fact whether or not I want it to happen. I can minimize the probability of an accident through planning and cautious driving, but the possibility is always there.
I don't go out of my way to impose XP loss on any particular Jedi, and I don't derive any particular joy from it,but that's the system the devs have created and I'm playing my role become a Jedi with all the benefits and caveats that the profession carries,so if you have to spend a day regrinding 450k XP that you lost because you were careless enough to get on the terms, on your own head be it.
There is a very easy way to play this game without forced PvP and/or XP loss. Don't be a Jedi. Simple. Effective.

Dude grow up. What the f$#*would you do if they didn't have Jedi ? Ya know that thing for our content. And their have been so many know bugs, etc, that made major negative impacts on them. Like when the terms were broken and people who weren't suppose to be on the terms , where on the terms. I guess they 'shouldn't have played then' ? I think SOE need to have more parental controls on the game and send the parents emails of all the in game chat and post that these kiddies make in this game. All I see is stupid post by immature people who want a quick win, or cry nerf when they lose.
AND I am a bh btw. It's called tactics !
HOW ABOUT THEM APPLES !!!!

Sorry but, did you just say...

just have to add... in the movies... the jedi got the "smackdown" from Anakin... not the other way around. However I do agree that they should be forced to act in a manor that reflects their character type.
So you want to take one profession and say that the game should dictate their personalities? I should play the game as I am told to by the game, while there are Rebel BH'ers coming to kill me, a Rebel lightside?
This IS an MMORPG...if you think characters should act certain ways, then play single player games where your opponants are computer programed to act the way the game wants them to, but as long as characters are controled by live players, they will have their own playstyles and personalities. Deal with it.
Apart from that, if somebody starts flaming in game, use "/addignore", if somebody starts flaming on the forums just report it to a moderator. Dont whine about whiners.
Its so funny to hear people say that jedi arent arrogant or rude or whatever.....
THEY WERE!!!!!!!
examples.
Gui-Gon tells Jar Jar
"the ability to speak does not make you intellegent"
Obi-Wan to Gui-Gon
I dunno. Yoda seemed pretty upset when the Emperor senk gank squads after all his Jedi buddies. I think he even used some kinda insta-db 'sploit on those Clones that came after him. And Yoda talked some smack to Palpatine too. I think he got reported to a CSR for that.

As an example A friend of mine just earned his Master Bounty Hunter status. After completing two Jedi kills within an hour he was being flamed on the forums. All for doing what is inherent in the game. Yoda would not put up with such self centered arrogant behavior

I support Saber TEF. Except while grouped with allies.

I'd go for a robes TEF as well. Perhaps a tag TEF if possible.
And don't accuse me of being a Jedi hater. I finished my FS grind last night.

I have no sympathy for people who whine about forced PvP and losing XP. I don't care how much RL time you lose if you have to regrind. It was your choice to become a Jedi with all the benefits and caveats that the profession carries,so if you have to spend a day regrinding 450k XP that you lost because you were careless enough to get on the terms, on your own head be it.

Don't worry it's about to get a little better soon. the new school year is here. Now we just need to figure out what we do with the minimum wage Jedi that are floating about.
