Thread: tracking
You can't track specific animals (for the second time). Read the tree and you will see you start out with animals only, no range or specific distance, and decreased range. As you progress up the tree, you get more range, and the ability to track people (NPCs) and then players. Also, your range increases, and you get the range of each creature/person/player, and a direction.
No waypoints, no specifics, and no creatures/people not spawned. You can even track shuttles.
About a pain to explain, like explaining colors to a blind person.

This should probably be in the BH forums, but I trust you guys more.
How does tracking work now? Specifically, I want to know when the BH gets your name. Do they get it after they pull your mission? After their droid successfully locates you? Or after they go to the droid wp and find out who they can tab on to target?
You will get the name when you are within 1km of the mark. When you get within 1km you will have your marks name update on your screen. Good luck
So I can infer 2 things from this:
1) This will be the end of the "I've got some pearls for you to buy" geniuses because they won't know who we are until they are near.
2) Since droids don't work on Kash, BHs will never know who their mark is if they are on Kash.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
thanks should save me a ton of time normally on last planet i go to i knew must be quicker way
thanks again
