You people need to learn how everyone is killing highend content in the new combat system, don't you people ever wonder how so many +25 ca/aa are being looted lately lol. It's just as easy as it was in the previous combat system as long as you have the right skills you do pretty much anything as a ranged player atm.
First of all...you could cut the elitism in you post with a chainsaw. Secondly, it is getting very old hearing from "glowy stick batters" about the ability of a ranged profession. I think you are all full of "it", and merely like to hear the sounds of your keyboards clicking away as you continue to profess to have knowledge about professions that you rarely use (IF you have them at all).
I'm really starting to resent the Jedi population. Reading the BH forums is like any Saturday night at your local hillbilly, slackjawed, red neck bar.
Redneck1: I can *kill me 4 squirrles in less then a hour...but I can't beats me no bear!
Redneck2: Ahh shucks, me a Jimmy Bo Bob, we done killed us dem 3 bears jest n'otherday.
Redneck1: Well I done tried to kill me a bear lots o time, but we only gots n these here huntin knives, and he don't like it none too much we in we's tries to git too close.
Redneck2: Well, yous all just don't know how to use yer knives is all. Here, have a look see at my knife.
Redneck1: You id-git....dat der ani't no knive. That der's a 10 guage double barreled shotgun with double aught buck.
Redneck2: So....you jest need to learn to use n yer knive as good as I done use MY knife here.
Redneck1: But'n der NOT de same.
Redneck2: Yes de is.
Redneck1: Dems feudin words.
Redneck2: You wanna step outside?
Redneck1: You gunna bring dat shotgun?
Redneck2: No...but I'm gunna bring my knife.

could someone translate...
I am not playing dumb. I am in no way the best bounty hunter on my server. Irarely hunt in groups. There are some really tough Jedion Naritus and I take my lumps but I have never teamed up with one Jedi to kill a Jedi for a Bounty. I have seena few well organized 3 man BH teams take out some very tough Jedi. Why would you say I am playing dumb?

Don't let the hate cloud reality. I suggest you ask some other experienced players how they are doing it because it's being done while you post how everything requires a Jedi lol. Right now a non-Jedi is looting a nice +25 General Ranged Speed AA in the time it took you to post all your responses.........imagine the loot your missing out on!!!!!

Your orginal statment made it clear that you believed because you don't need a Jedi to beat a Jedi, Jedi are not more powerful then the object of this discussion (i.e. DWB, Corvette, Geo cave, Necrosis). Kind of like saying:
Well if a Jedi can beat the Corvette, and I can beat a Jedi, then this must mean I am able to beat the Corvette.
I responded with the fact that MOST Jedi fights are 1 vs 1. Pointing out the fact that there are MANY more aggros in all these "instances"....thus refuting that you "took the wind out of our "everything""...(or our contention). In order to do so, I kept to you "Jedi" reference and used a level 90 Jedi as an example.
Your response was indignant. As if to say, "Show me a level 90 Jedi, and I will still beat them and prove my point". Now I'm well aware of the fact that there are currently no player Jedi on any server above the level 80 mark, however, even if there were, and you were in fact able to kill a player level 90 Jedi, you avoided the fact that the "instances" still contain more then ONE. I believe your avoidance of this comparison to be intentional, in an effort to draw attention away fromt he fact that your ORGINAL statement did nothing to refute the OPs statement that multiple NPC level 90 and greater take a Jedi to complete.
That Sir, is "playing dumb".

Tuchek,
Honestly you need to cool down or you are going to feel a sharp pain in your arm soon. You are baseing my statement on how you interperted it and how I interepted the OP. He said EVERYTHING requires a Jedi. I was simply staitng that I have done some things that do not require a Jedi and offered examples of other Non-Jedidoing the same. I never mentioned anyting about beating anything solo. As a matter of fact I hate it when you hear stories of people Soloing high end content pre and post CU. A group of Non-Jedican still do things in this game just as well asJedi. On the Lvl 90 Jedi issue you asked for a screen shot of me killing 4 lvl 90 Jedi. I asked you to show me where I can find one that is PC above 80. You asked a loaded question and I gave you an answer.

btw, I suggest doing this as quickly as possible since it's obvious everything that lets you do anything worthwhile in the game will eventually get ner...errr balanced. So multiple roots will not be possible as well as I believe chaining AI (I'm only guessing but based on the level of complaints devs are bound to come around)
I know where to find such attachements and I cannot obtain them. What I see happening more often then not are Jedi alts grabbing these items and either selling them, or using them for their main character. Irregardless of your beliefs, I am an experienced player. I will tell you with great honesty that not all characters are equal, even within the non-Jedi players. Many have better weapons, better stims, better armor, etc., etc. Some players use exploits...that is NOT to say that everyone who "succeeds" is an exploiter, thus, I placed other "reasons" first.
All I'm saying is this...stronger players get stronger, it makes sense. Who do you think stands a better chance against a NPC dropping +25 tapes? A player with a weapon of max 1200 damage and 200 melee defense because of a skill tape looted (obtanined orginally by using a better weapon in the first place). I think the Devs messed up by creating a "loot" spawn point. I personally think it should be totally random. I do believe a +25 skill tape (or AA) should be dropped "sometimes" by a level 30 NPC. Why not? Does luck have nothing to do with it...or as I already said, giving the already strong a chance to become stronger. Perhaps I need to group more, and I'm simply being stubborn. There are many things in this game that make me want to quit everyday, but I just can't do it. I fear I now enjoy bitching about what's wrong with this game. That should NOT in any way remove the justification of what IS wrong, but perhaps a bit of insight as to the drive to play this game.
Of anything I can say that I've recently been proud of, it would be the quest on Kashyyyk. I can submit to the fact that, although I'm aware (experienced), I'm one of the weaker players on my server, I still soloed 99% of the "hunting grounds" (the only exception was the Korroworrt for the Chiss backpack). All of Sorrens "bets", all of the quest. I'm proud of that, I LIKE to solo. I DO believe players should be rewarded for efforts at "high level" content...I just don't believe it should be the ONLY place to find the "best loot". When players can tell me where to find a static loot drop of +25 attachments....I think the Devs dropped the ball, not the loot.
Whatever happened to being able to "Gump" into something good. As such with life, it doesn't hapen much, but when it does....it's sweet.

Don't worry about my arms, they are strong enough. Look, putting more words in your post doesn't make your defense any stronger. You made a pompous one sentence statement. You left little for interpertation, and I it was quite direct, despite your best efforts to "spin" it now.
You have not offered any examples of anything you have done that did not require a Jedi in line with the OP.
You have mentioned hunting Jedi. Well that is a known. Unless you group with a BH/Jedi (which is as rare as Jedi SHOULD be), you will almost never hunt Jedi WITH a Jedi.
You mentioned a fight you had on Tat that involved the GCW, but alas, it contained a Jedi.
You are hiding behind semantics, more then likely a result of thinking faster then you can type. This is not a court room, and often times, everything is "understood" and open for interpretation. If you fail to see THIS, or how I arrived at my conclusions based on your statements, then it is obvious you are incappable of hold an intelligent discussion, or just ignorant on how a forum works. On the other hand, you may just enjoy the notion that you are merely aggravating the community. Either way, I'll not respond to people who cannot "back up" their own statements when it's been recorded right in front of them BEFORE they say something.
How can you tell me what you have offered, when you haven't, and it was possible for you to SEE it before you claimed to offer? Do you even know what you have already posted?
Hey Everyone
Well we have tried the deathwatch bunker with one jedi and 7 level 80 very tuff well balanced chars - and this place is insane now. The first room has 3 92 droid hitting very quickly for 1350 damage and 2 level 87 mobs hitting for high 600s, this is with all jedi defences up. The dungeon started off as a joke as we were able to move deep into it, and now is designed for either 8 jedi or multiple groups. Why cut the group max size to 8 if we are suppose to use a raid force to enter a dungeon. I am not sure wether corvette is fixed but I was getting hit for 6500 damage - with Jedi buffs up and with 5400 hps. The problem was we were attacked without being able to see a foe, so he jsut repeatedly wiped out the party. In the end we jsut took the escape pod and gave up.
Tessha - Jedi 250 Pt
Intrepid Galaxy
Tuchek,
You are cracking me up. I am not hiding behind semantics. I strated with a one sentence reply and it has turned into a 5-7 paragraph discussion between us. Here are some things that I have done without a Jedi with a range of difficult to easy.
- The Rebel TP
- Jabba's Palace
- Nyms Stronghold
- Lord Nyax
- The Warren
- Geo Lab
- Factional Base take downs
- Krayt Hunting
- JTL
- Kashyyk Quests
- The Hunters Quest on Tat
- Countless Others
I am not patting myself on the back but you can still have fun in this game grouped/solo with or without Jedi.
P.S. Read my statement about grouping with Jedi. I have never grouped with a Jedi while on a BOUNTY. I never said I have never grouped with a Jedi.
