Thread: Ultimate Template (non MCM): MBH/MR, Improved Stopping Shot and >1000 heals every 5 secs? YES!

If you're dueling someone and have them targeted, clicking bacta shot / bacta toss makes the heal fail due toan 'invalid target'. Does this bugoccur when you have a bounty hunter TEF on your mark?
Targeting myself before using bactashot / bactatoss is incredibly annoying.

Would a /tar self;/bactaShot macro work? Just put the macro icon where your bacta icon was and you're good to go
Now I have to redo my template for the eleven millionth time!!
Anyway, thanks for the heads up..
I need to get some AA's though for this stuff...my shirt is a melee/ranged defense..not giving that up..

I believe it does. I have already been getting 850 heals with just +8 healing eff from tapes and Medic 0020. The formula given in that thread I linked computes the expected heals you should be seeing with +25. I think I calculated it to be around 1060.
A +17 Healing Eff shirt should be not so hard to find. I would use one I cant..I have a +22 gen ranged speed, +15 rifle acc, +19 def vs intimidate, +5 healing eff shirt I wear instead =P.
Does the FS skills "Injury treatment" work the same way as "Healing efficiency"? If so, you could go HS 3xxx and M xx1x for an extra +5

The smartest way to go about this would be to set up a macro that simply says /bactashot self . This would allow you to heal yourself without losing the target on your opponent.
1) As a CM4000 I never had a problem using bacta shot while having a Jedi targeted while fighting.
2) One thing about this template, it uses all 250 SPs. Ill be dropping some FS for it. One nice thing is novice pistoleer gives +15 gen ranged acc.

I tried that template for a few days and noticed stopping shot at that level is notthat effectivefor me. I'm now trying mbh/mr/carbs0300/med0020. This gives added accuracy, leg shot (same dmg multiplier as critical), and cripple shot. I don't have any hard data, but i believe cripple shot is a better snare than knee-cap shot. My idea is that I will be able to use cripple shot way more effectively than stopping shot.
Switch out Master Rifles for Master Pistols. Keep Carbs 0300. As you said, you will have both leg shot and critical for damage (making headshot redundant)and you will have advanced stopping shot. You will still have a good snare from carbineer, so there is really no reason to keep rifles unless you like concealing and sniping a lot.
Of course that isn't so easy to do if you have a lot invested in rifles and rifle skill tapes, but if you don't yet, consider it. You could make yourself a real nice Gorax Scatter Pistol and be set.

Err....I dont think sacrificing 30 range is worth it to have a skill that is near (?) the power of adv critical...
What do you figure you need the range for? You have specials to slow and stop your opponents (which you can apply with a laser rifle if you wish) so it's not like they're going to run away. And 35m is still out of saber throw range.
I don't think 30 range is worth taking a profession with specials that don't add to this template. Everyone is just stuck in the rifles mindset because it was FOTM before the CU.
