Thread: jedi runs. success or failure?
A-Slave wrote:I think its a win.... not in credits...but in something far more valuable to a bounty hunter! Reputation!!
Each jedi that you force to run is a boost in a bounty hunters reputation...you start off as an unknown, but slowly from taking player missions you start to gain fame (not just in winning, but HOW you win also...too much trash talk doesnt help). In the end, your character advances by being feared and respected....when you walk into a cantina and all the jedi inside target you and /duel to check if you are after them...you have won.
When the jedi start to talk to eachother and warn eachother about you...you have won. When random jedi start sending you tells for duels to "test themselves" ...you have won.
A BH with a reputation that says all his bounties are getting away from him, have got no good reputation.
Besides the jedi flee from all BHs, no matter who they are, and what skills they have. unless they decide that they will stand and fight ofcource. I as a jedi, will do whatever I can to survive. I would flee from a CL 1 BH if i had the chance. Because I have no reason to stand and fight. A BHs mission is to kill the jedi and get money. And its with the money you as a BH earn reputation. A BHs reputation that says the jedi got away from him time after, speaks of a BH thats sloppy rather then highly respected...
And you need to pull your head out of your favoritehole and realize you've never beaten me...never have and never will. You'd think a Harvard Grad could read...since my name happens to be in my sig....you'd have a hard time not recgnizing a Jedi you've never beaten.......not sure who you really think I happen to be.

i'm one of the rare bounty hunters who does not need to kite a jedi. i stay in melee range all the time and kill jedi fast.
it's the reason why i have the highest jedi kill count across all the servers. it's also the reason why i am the greatest. kiting is for pansies.
Oh yeah...oh mighty one, what is your temp anyway? Somehow I missed that in all of your self proclaimed glory?
Or...is it soooo OOBER, that you don't want to share, lest you create another fotm?
It requires putting P-ups on your weapons and tranfering servers a few times. Then getting enough CM to outheal any damage a Jedi can do, coupled with slapping as many debuffs on them as possible.
this whole server transfer-pup urban myth thing is getting really, really old. don't you think that it's odd that the only people in the whole of SWG who has even heard of this transfer-pup thing are two jedi on starsider who also happen to get owned by me each time i complete their bounty mission? seriously. don't you think it's odd that no one else on any other server or on any other profession board is complaining about the so-called transfer-pup thing except for those same starsider jedi? ROFL.
man, the reason why my weapons hit you and that other n00b starsider jedi is because you both are not master defenders, plus i have 750+ accuracy whenever i spank you. ROFL. you two need to learn how to play your templates better. ROFL.

short answer: yes.
long answer: yes, but even if i told you what it was it still takes a great measure of skill and intelligence to use my template. simply telling it to you would be akin to putting a .357 magnum into the hands of a monkey. i am not prepared to do that.
If you came within 20 feet of a monkey, they'd fling so much poo at you, you'd look like the stench demon from Dogma.
So in other words...you don't have a special temp. You have a regular FOTM temp like half of us do...and the neat thing about us is, we admit it. You probably exploit...and are the laughing stock of SWG. So blather on somemore...we need the laughs...

Oh...my....god.... We finally agreed on something ::::runs to the window::::: It's raining cat's and dogs!

One, if you attack a Jedi and they run and avoid you successfully accomplishing your mission you have either failed or are forced to pursue at alater date. Three days or death will determine if you're a failure.
Second, Blixtev needs to code in a feature relating to how the BH-tef works. Jedi who die while having a BH-tef should grant the BH an automatic success and cause the Jedi to suffer the exp loss penalty. I only play a fulltime Jedi character and would prefer to see this feature added.

Though if Blixtev does this, then BHs deaths during the TEF will need to follow suit. This opens up a high possibility that friends of either than BH or the Jedi can interfere and train mobs onto either player.

LMao!!
No worries, I may express some "alternate" views at times although I do not base these views towards another person, player or forum poster. I try to remain neutral and open minded as possible when expressing matters involving game mechanics. ![]()
Most of my "flames" aren't really directed towards a player rather then a quoted post. I tend to see things as subjected views presented for the sake of a debate... I have no intent to "win" a debate as much as I do for to _influence_ the debate. ![]()
Either way:
GIVE JEDI BH-TEF DEATH PENALTIES REGARDLESS HOW THEY DIE !!!!
A DEATH IS A DEATH AND A DEATHCONTRIBUTED TO THE JEDI BY THE BOUNTYHUNTER CONSTITUTES A SUCCESFULL MISSION !!!

Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that SWG_Miriam says "ROFL" like 2-3 times in each of his posts? I think hes counting the number of times he says that as his Jedi kill count ROFL![]()
I noticed that too... I ripped Miriam up in the Fallan....Kinetic Rifle post... I had just had too much of the back patting and "I'm the greatest ever" nonsense.
