Thread: 1200+ Damage
No cyber arms, 8 piece suit, legs, belt, chest, helm, biceps, and bracers
gloves and boots not adk'ed
Gah. Let's hope the 'Armor Hole' bug isn't back. It took the developers a year and a half to find it and fix it last time.

I suppose that would explain the high damage, but would that cause my armor to be "nonexistent"? I would expect high damage from an overloaded saber, but not the effect of bypassing my armor...
Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions about overloaded sabers, etc.
I dulled a guildmate MBH once, granted he didn't have 75% AB reduction armor, I KD'd and armorbroke him, then hit him for 1535 with Powerattack.
This was with a 667 Max damage saber too, and that certainly is not top of the range.

That attack was pretty much the only attack that jedi spammed...

whats with the hate?
if I can do that with my crappy saber, a guy with a 710+ Saber could easily hit for 1200 with ADVSaberThrow. The bit about the guys armor not mitigating any of it seems to tell me maybe he missed a bicep or bracer in there somewhere. Even if the offending Jedi overloaded his saber the armor mitigation would still show up.

Did you have ranged arms equiped? If the arms are equiped you lose the protection of the biceps and bracers. Also, 1200 dmg is usually result of a power attack, and Advanced Saberthrow is nearly as powerful as the improved power attack. That means when advanced saberthrow is used, 800-1k dmg isnt uncommon. And with my post CU saber, im able to hit with powerattack for nearly 1300. The overloaded saber comment is a possiblity, but if it was an overloaded saber, the normal head/leg/body hits would all have been about 1200 not jus saberthrow or power attack. And about your armor not causing any resistance, who knows. Probably just a bug.
