I don't get why cloak is such a big deal with people. A lot of BH's just need to chill out. If I get a jedi that cloaks. I'll go do something else for a bit and either head back at it again later, or just send them a tell and say, "Good fight, I'm dropping your mission see you later."
Do you get off on having that kill? Sure its a waste of the food / arakyd / seeker's you use, but who cares. The next jedi you kill will pay for that little bit you wasted previously. Maybe its just my outlook on the matter, I don't mind a jedi that runs. It makes it all the more fun for me to track them down.
Another thing, if the jedi is stupid enough to stand still (have had a few of these) while cloaked, pull out a creature/droid and a speeder and stand on top of them. This drains their force a lot faster than you just sitting there. If nothing else, hope they run through creature lairs.

I mind a Jedi who runs. A Jedi who runs is a coward and deserves a different fate. Jedis have all the powers to take on anyone and anywhere; there is no excuse to run. Jedis are 1.5 times more powerful than a BH. Sure I get off on having that kill because I face my challenges head on and not with reluctance, hesitation nor remorse. It's the challenge we must face as BH and I am simply here to find a solution to the problem.

I have faced honorable Jedis who carry themselves to the very end. Some ending to lead into their tragedy and some to my demise.

And yes, there are stupid Jedis who probably stand around stalking female players cloaked.

You aren't a veteran ifyou are stating something like that.......... uneducated in your hunting ways by the sound of it. I would go into a huge description but it would fall on deaf ears. If they have the ability to cloak or run it means they have sacrified jedi defense so they can't take a beating or numerous shots without draining their force. My BH has a base ranged defense of 288, put 250.00 for duelist stance and that is more than my MDefender. Defenders have Aura but rumor is it isn't working.

My suggest is if you want to be the best BH you can be, you need to study the jedi profession. Learn how many skill points they have, if they use one of their specials. You should be able to identify their template and use their weaknesses against them. Instead of whining about ones that run, that is weak you are the hunter and it is your job to hunt them. Not their job to stand and let you open a can of whoop @SS on them. Strike at the right time, have some skill and use your brain, instead of just wanting them to play in your little game of stay still till i DB you.

it won't stop pure escapers..

just /cloak and then logout, they'll poof before they run out of force, especially if they use a channel macro.

Yep, AND throw stasis into the mix and the droid and BH are out of luck.

BHs can always stalk their targets until there is an opportune moment to strike. As I stated earlier, a BH can get the easiest Jedi kills if he can take the Jedi by surprise, this is valid for any Jedi, including cloakers and Master Enhancers.

Now that some jedi have proven how it can be done, how about running back to your forums and enlightening your fellow jedi on how to properly avoid BH's. Their relentless whining is starting to filter into the game as well and it's getting annoying.

I agree, that's the only way to kill a cloaker, catch them off guard. From personal experiences I haven't been taken by surprise yet, let alone killed. I've also come to the conclusion that I can't kill a BH So I don't entertain the idea of even putting up a fight anymore. My only attacks are grenades, stasis, meditate, cloak, channel, and fr3 (and now rancor aid). One of us tyically gets bored first and the fight is over. It's sad.

Since BHs are whining constantly about Force Cloak (see this thread) and not being able to kill their marks because they cant catch them, it seems to me that Jedi with Force Cloak know very well how to avoid BHs.
Unfortunately, the last publish brought severe unbalances to the Jedi that dont have Force Cloak in their template, and its not only Jedi that are affected. If you want to earn some flames in the Jedi forums, go ahead and post that yourself. I for my part support everybody that is against the new changes to the snare system because any BH worth his salt can kill Jedi that dont have Force Cloak in their template without getting hit. This is already discussed in other threads, by the way, so stick to those since this thread has nothing to do with pub 24.

yeah, us cloakers have learned to pick our battles well, especially since most are not tank templetes.

(myself am MLS, enh 24x2, def xx4x, healer 2xxx, pwrs x4xx)

So with force armor, and a post CU saber, a bh can drain my force within 5-10 minutes if he constantly lays it on, if he slacks with proper channel use I can extend it 30 mins tops, had a 2 hour fight using holos. But the only times I have been killed is when either taken completely by surprise (someone covered waiting for me to get low on health while grinding) or when my faulty memory causes my pc to crash and I go LD, or get bugged somehow.

Normally a /logout follows immeditely after the cloak, and I grind the alt for a bit..

because with the new snare, most of them try to stay even out of our saber throw range (32m) so they cannot be touched at all.. Hence why a lot of bh'ers are attacking in their underware now, mocking us. O.o But that's exactly what us cloakers ask for.

Wanna bet on that ? Also it's JEDI not Jedis.

How am I for example, with my 260 dps saber, supposed to outdamage a MCM/MBH's heals?
