Offer a friend a share of the profitand get him to stay on top of the Jedi to prevent him from cloaking.

I don't get why cloak is such a big deal with people. A lot of BH's just need to chill out. If I get a jedi that cloaks. I'll go do something else for a bit and either head back at it again later, or just send them a tell and say, "Good fight, I'm dropping your mission see you later."

Do you get off on having that kill? Sure its a waste of the food / arakyd / seeker's you use, but who cares. The next jedi you kill will pay for that little bit you wasted previously. Maybe its just my outlook on the matter, I don't mind a jedi that runs. It makes it all the more fun for me to track them down.

Another thing, if the jedi is stupid enough to stand still (have had a few of these) while cloaked, pull out a creature/droid and a speeder and stand on top of them. This drains their force a lot faster than you just sitting there. If nothing else, hope they run through creature lairs.

Here's the best way in my oppinion. Buy a battle droid, have it double as a med droid and make sure it has alot of Health. All you have to do is make it attack the jedi. You get to do extra dmg to him, make him divert his attention and attacks, boost your heals, and if it falls you can use droid stims or even regular heals lol (dunno why). so it will follow him and stay close enough to keep him from cloaking. Just run after him and keep track of its health. If the droid falls under half health just heal it. He'll never get a chance to cloak and he'll be pissed. Lol.

This is an Exploit... FYI

Because you aren't supposed to be able to use a human-stim (bacta jab / toss / etc. etc.) on a non-human.

If the Jedi is an idiot that will work. As soon as I see a BH bringing in friends, they are usually trying exploits so I immedialty leave them behind. They've tried this with me before along with the droid trick, it only works if the Jedi is a moron. But I don't hang around if they're bringing friends in on duels that are supposed to be 1 on 1.

Are you implying that a bh using a droid at all is exploiting? If thats what your saying, you deserve to be slapped.

ppl think healing ur droid is an exploaut, personnaly i think it is an exploit when u heal it after it incapps. if it is an exploit then it is a silly 1 cause droids caounts as pets an dno one complains about healing pets as an expliot.

This doesnt really work... the acceleration of a speeder and a Jedi is very different. A Jedi can stop and move instantaneously. A speeder stops, slows, accelerates then hits top speeds. Add in lag issues and terrain negotiation, and it's very hard to trail a Jedi on a speeder with or without the /follow command.

The droid advice is solid though. If you can keep it alive, even in laggy conditions a droid usually follows the jedi pretty close.

Doesn't even matter, just give it till the ranger publish and you'll not have to worry again. Due to the incessant whining the devs are adding a snare to cloak.

it won't stop pure escapers..

just /cloak and then logout, they'll poof before they run out of force, especially if they use a channel macro.

Well I have decided to taken upon myself and enlighten some of you bounty hunters. When did BH become the only prof with snare? last I remember Jedi can snare also to keep the BH from catching up to him as easily also. As for running from driods, FR 1,2,and 3 can all outrun driods, driods dont move at the speed of light. And whos to say u can snare and root the driod also. I had someone send a bomb driod after me and all i did was root it and it couldnt do anything. Anything you can do to a player to prevent him from catching you u can do to a driod. getting away from a BH is not very hard even with the new snare changes

as for a BH getting SL buffs to kill a jedi, thats pathetic. I hope they fix that issue very soon

Doesnt work. Last BH that tried that on me could watch the Stasis icon under his HAM for 45 secs while his droid died. Before that, he could see +Rooted+ above his droid while he himself was getting armor broken and started taking damage, just to see me disappear before the droid could move again.

Seriously, it depends on your template and your tactics.
In a 1-on-1 fight: If you have a lot of crowd control, keep Root, Snare or KD on the Jedi at all times, and stay within 20m of him. If the Jedi is a Master Enhancer on top of having Force Cloak, you might as well retreat and try to get him some other time, because you wont be able to kill him no matter what if you dont take him by surprise.

By tactics: Easiest way to kill a Cloaker is by catching him by surprise. The only BH that killed me so far got me right after I got a rez in a GCW attack. 10% health, no Force Armor up, no Force Aura up, no Force Infusion up, and my Stasis missed him.
Attacking a Cloaker in an NPC city also works - he will have a hard time finding a spot where no NPCs are closer than 20m to him.
