Here's a little bit of info that might intrest you.

Remember when the holo grind was removed and the FS village added? That idea was the idea of Lucas Arts. George Lucas wanted to see more jedi in the game, so he wanted a new system of unlocking jedi. SOE was very opposed to this idea, but Lucas Arts won out and changes were made.

2 months later a high level executive, in an interview on SWG stratic, complained that jedi was too easy to get with in the game.

How did I get this informationabout George Lucas wanting more jedi in the game? I had a friend on the server I play who works for LFL (Lucas Films and Licensing), who just happened to have a good friend who worked in the PR department of Lucas Arts.

SOE does not like jedi and is hostile to jedi being in the game. When SWG was in it's design stages, SOE was even opposed to there being a jedi profession in the game. Once again it was Lucas Arts that won the decision.

Well what sells better? Jedi or <insert Profession> ? As much as many love SW in general It is and always has been the Jedi that has sold the whole Galaxy. Look at any SW game...Jedi Stuff sells way better..other than BF, but they are putting Jedi in BF:2, so meh.

Can't really complain, I wion't lie...I want my Jedi too...just not in any form of a Hurry. I have had 5/6 of my FS skill trees unlocked since later last year, and have only grinded out 2 novice and 1 tier 1 box since. Not a big fan of repetative things like killin all the time, I spend too much time rearranging my House Decor, which I do enjoy immensly

Some will call it cowardly, but ignore that cause if they lost 200k of BH tracking experience I assure you they would into a house aswell. They are no better, they expect you to lay down, dieso they can get theirmoney.

I have not been hunted yet and I dont know why, but I keep a house on my at all times, I suggest you get a good group in a quiet area, place a (Generic)house at every lair and have everyone keep an eye on the map and scream DOT everything a triangle appears on the map and then you run for the house.

If you have multiple people in the group who needs a safe house set up a macro to add them to the list when facing the house terminal.

For low level padawans It is of course best to run...But fighting is also an option.

I would agree with this, except that things are so bad for padawan now, that it's even hard to run! believe it or not, there are players who have jedi that are so weak that they don't even bother to run! They just stand theirin the same spot andlet the BH finish them off! And I'm not even talking about a gank squad!

Last Saterday, I was attacked by 2 separate MBH on Kashyyyk. The2 MBH had MBH had the same mission on me butdidn't even know it! So as I'm running from one MBH, I suddenly get attacked by another! I was able to get away because I has carefully planed for such an incident, however, if it were a gank squad, then I'm sure I would not of been so lucky. And who's to say I wasn't lucky for just getting away from the 2 MBH that were attacking me?

Drop your non-jedi skills, go to tatooine or another noob planet and start killing kreetles or something like that, you will get xp, and no visibility (as long as no-one passes by). Its easy enough no? Everyone is supposed to group for xp or high level content, except jedi... because they are supposed to stay low profile... so,with a bitof patience (a jedi virtue unknown to swg jedi's) and withoutmuch of risk you can become a powerfulfull template jedi who can own 3 BHs at a time, what more do you want? You can even tell your grandchildren later, that you were the most powerful jedi in swg because you did not need help or anything, you did not need to mindlessly slaugther wookies in kashykk because BH's cannot track you there or because of LOS bugs rendering you invulnerable, BH's were not even aware of your existence!

You should look into that. Unless they are grouped they should not be able to attack you at the same time...unless I missed something. If you still have enough points pick up MTK. You will get the innate armor and good defense, will give you a better chance to get away. Never Hurts to get Doc 4000 that with Healer heals will keep you afloat. As mentioned above, MRifles is also a killer. You will have your average New BH running from you if you play your cards right.

Before you start your training (Maybe even before you do the trials) get a template to survive as Padawan.

Before my main character was jedi, he was a master TKA, master pistoleer and 2/2/0/0 medic. The only non-jedi profession my character still has is master pistoleer Since they nerfed TKAs and made this game a more ranged based game, I decided that master pistoleer was better to keep.

I am always fully prepared for an attack by an MBH. I have macro's set along with special food, my best pre-nerf FWG5pistol that does almost 900 dmg, my vehicle macro, and the many other things that have done to prepare.

Not excluding the luck factor, the key to survival for any low level padawan is not to stay and fight. Instead, run away!

I currently have my jedi character on moth balls. I'm keeping him logged out in his house for 3 weeks. I refuse to train my character as a jedi anymore. Until something is done to make low level padawans more playable(I am not holding my breath), I don't see any logic or fun in a profession where I'mbeing forced onto the BH terminals because I'm being forced to train ina group, smiply becauseI can't fight and I can't defend my self. Not to mention that up to 5 separate MBH can be hunting my weak padawan at once!

the trick to level and beating BH down is where you put you begain skills starting in ls just means you are bh bait. so think smart and do what ever it take to maintain you cl as high as possable
