A long time ago, I was involved in a fued with a certain Jedi that stretched across PvP, tells, friends, forums - everything. It was because of him that I first ground out BH in a PvP capacity, having only ever done it for a holo before.
After getting Shgio's template done and spending a week or so learning to use it, I hit the terms, find his mission, suit up and send out my droids. I find him on Yavin, at the labor outpost, food up, send in my bomb droid.... BOOM!! HEADSHOT! he's left with about 30% mind and I start spamming F6, which was my ket for eyeshot.
Except I had left my food and roleplay emotetoolbar up instead of my combat one - and the fight looked something like this:
You tip your hat to him
You tip your hat to him
You tip your hat to him
You tip your hat to him
You tip your hat to him
***** heals himself for
You tip your hat to him
You tip your hat to him
You tip your hat to him
***** uses Wrath of Kun on you for
You are stunned!
You feel dizzy!
You tip your hat to him
You have been knocked down!
Shgio says; 'omgwtf'
***** uses Lucidity Strike on you for
***** uses Lucidity Strike on you for
***** uses Lucidity Strike on you for
((at this point I realize what's happened and try to hit Ctrl+F1 to switch to my combat pane and start start hitting F1 (stand)- but in the panic I hit Ctrl+F2 instead, my weapons and armor pane, and unequip my pistol))
***** uses Lucidity Strike on you for
***** uses Lucidity Strike on you for
You have been incapacitated by *****
You were slain by *****
***** tips his hat to you. (Somehow this was the worst part.)
***** says 'lol'
You tell ***** 'Ok I hate you but if you need to post screenies of this on the forums, I deserve that.'
i declare you the winner of this thread, damn i was rolling as soon as i saw the tip hat part.
I had been hunting jedi all night, had I 2 kills, was working on my third, the first kill, was so easy I felt bad, I just rode out of the forest on corellia, jumped off my bike, KD'd, and 3 shots later, had my money, I think he was AFK grinding FP or somthing.
Then the second, I took the mission, launched a probe droid, and hopped to theed, my mark was standing in front of me. Now he is in one of the prominent rebel guilds on my server, and I knew they were at war with another guild, so I hung out, threw an AFK up, and sat down next to an entertainer friend. Well, he ran around, killing imp NPC's, so I just waited. Well, a friend of mine, who was in the opposing guild shuttled in, and my mark, and two of his guildies jumped him. They chased him into the starport,Well, I waited a minute, then I just started hammering my mark, had him within one shot of death, when he KD'd me, then FR away. Soon as he was out of the starport, he cloaked. Well, I sent a seeker up, and watched him wonder around near me for a bit, he sent me some tells, which I ignored, then he shuttled away. I sent up a probe droid, and hopped to the nearest likely spot, my probe droid came back with moeina, so I hopped there, he was gone, so I sent another droid up, and shuttles into theed shuttleport 2. Well, the droid came back with him in the starport, I ran over there as fast as I could, and found him inside again, with three friends, ganking another member of the opposing guild. Well, this time, he diddnt get up from the KD, he sent me some tells saying he was out of force etc... I just said thanks for the240k. The profession is Bounty Hunter, not Jedi Dueler.
(yeah may seem like bragging, but bear with me).
Anyway, right away I took my next mission, just grabbed the highest paying one on the terminal, sent a droid up, and it came back Rori... i got a sinking feeling in my stomach, cause the only thing on Rori, is the HQ of the guild, who the jehti I just ganked was a member of. Well, I hopped over there, and yup, the jehti was in that guilds town. I hadnt been banned yet, so I shuttled in, and looked around, i found my mark, one of the really powerfull Pre-CU jedi. Well, I hung around a bit, but they spotted me, and knew right away what I was there for. Well, they sent tells asking me who I was after, I diddnt say anything for awhile, but then I had to go somewhere so I just replied, "I had blah blahs mission, but I have to go," I just quit, came back after a few hours, that jehti was still hanging around, and they had banned me. So I started away on my bike, its a 5k ride though, so after a minute, I turned around and came back. I knew I couldnt beat the jehti, but i figured free ride to a cloner, and a decent fight, maybe a chance to kill him too.
(Yeah right.)
Came back, and found him in a building, for some reason I wasnt banned, so I just walked in, no buffs, no foods, and attacked him, it popped us both outside, and he started hammering me, well i tried to heal, nothing, tried to move, nothing, tried to attack, nothing. I just stood there. He incapped me in about 3 swings, after I was incapped, my heal worked?
Up I came, he dropped me again, in 1 hit, I healed after I was incapped AGAIN, up I came, down I go, triple incap, death, I never hit him once. My face was red, I took my free trip back, and took an NPC mission, he sent me a tell saying, "you should of just left".
Moral of this story, never hunt two jedi of the same guild back to back, they know your name after the first one. And dont wear ranged arms if your gonna slug it out with a jehti.

last week a jedi master was pvping and i had his mission and was just waiting to strike, and then i saw another bh start to attack him and decided to also. The jedi was down to zero health but was on that "prevent incap bs" and there was nothing we could do. Then he uber heals to full health, kills me and the other bh and also the 2 jedi he was pvping against, talk about overpowered.
First of all, there are no Jedi Masters in the game anymore.
Secondly, if you couldn't manage to kill one perma-snaredJedi with 2 Ranged professions and 2 otherJedi pounding on himthen it's not a question of anyone being overpowered, it's a question of you not knowing how to PvP.
I forgot duelist stance macro but more imporatnaly I forgot to ARM MYSELF.
That's right....I teleoported into the starport and he was standing right in front of me, I hit paralyze without even thinking , and as the state wore off and he was on fire and poisoned, I was frantically messing with my tool bar trying to arm myself, he knocks me down, I get up and instead of healing etc. I am still trying to get my gun going , at this time I am a mess, and he incaps me just as I get off one shot.
The sad part it I was fairly expreinced already, the Jedi must of thought it was my first hunt. ......the guy said something like "good try" , he was trying to be nice, I wanted to crawl under my desk in the fetal position out of embarassment.

I forgot there was a Imp town up north of there and Mos Espa was their launch point into space, and forgot I was overt. Due was there just waiting for a load gank and there I came...luckly for me he missed and I was able to outrun him but it was a helluva chase
My moser embarrisnt non-death was on Yavin in the mining outpost, again I was Overt and I was flyin rebel missions, and here I was equipped in nothing but a flight suit. I get a tell that says "dont worry...I dont kill non-jedi". I whip around here was a Overt Imp Jedi staring at me, he totally had the drop on me too, then he took off.
oh and back in the day, I had BHs following me around and never could figure out why (I had not seen a JEdi yet). I then learned that the spraystick I carried looked a lot like a LS and they kept tailing me hoping I would get a saber TEF and theny theyd run get my mission.
Theyd always look at me funny when Id stop at a lair and my LS would start shooting little bolts :-) COurse later on I decided to run with this and started wearing a Tusken robe, tantel boots and running with a spraystick around in public. It was amusing :-)

True. But the Tag is still around. There are still Jedi running around with with those old tags, and new people who havnt expierenced those days will assume that, it is actually a Jedi Master, or Knight. Its not thier fault. They are just going by what they see.

Sure he may not be a very good PvPer. But I find it hard to believe that the entire 4 person group could be so inadequate at PvP that they could be wiped out in such a fashion. If the Jedi actually had the "Jedi Master" tag, or one similar from the old FRS days, then it is highly possible that the Jedi was a pre-CU Jedi, and more than likely had one of those Pre-CU sabers that everyone is always talking about. And it is also possible that that particular saber could have been Pearl stacked.
This isn't intended as a flame - just please stop crying nerf on people when you clearly do not have all the facts available to you.
He did not say anything about nerfing anybody. He said that that particular Jedi was over powered. And if what he is saying is true, then I might be inclined to agree with him. Ofcourse he dosnt have all the facts. But then again....neither do you. Or even myself.
This isn't intended as a flame- But before you just simply accuse someone of being a lousy PvPer. Take a look at what they are saying. Chances are they are new, and dont fully understand about things like Pre-CU sabers, and Pearl stacking, and why those old Tags are still around. These kind of things are foreign to them. But it doesnt mean that you should take pot shots at them or thier skill to make them feel bad abut themselves, just so you can protect your Jedi. If we all just applied a little patience, attention, and effort to inform these newer people, alot of misunderstandings can be avoided.
And besides. This was a thread about fun stuff. There are plenty of other threads on this forum for all that other stuff.
