You can't hit them while cloaked. Wouldn't be much point to the ability otherwise.

As long as there is no one within 20m of you, you can use force cloak.

you can use starship terminals while cloaked, but not if your in combat.

You CANT use vehicals while cloaked

You can use non aggressive powers such as heals, force run, transfer force, etc. any agressive powers or attacks breaks cloak.

The downside of cloak is that it has a BIG force drain if there are multiple people(players and/or npc's) within 20m

Something im curious about but havent tried yet, maybe if someone gets a chance first they can let us know. A buddy of mine was cloaked, and i was able to target him with '/target *name*'. This work while in combat? Can you still use attacks? Anyway, i plan on testing this, but if anyone finds out pls reply. Could be as simple as creating a /target macro with the bounties name to get around it.

You get the 'Invalid Target' message.

Really, i could have guessed that.

For some reason you feel you should be able to target and shoot an invisible person? I'd love to hear your reasoning on that.

Has anyone tested bomb droids, since they were fixed, as a way to break cloak?

They don't break cloak...but they DO damage the target...as do any area attacks done to targets near the mark.

For some reason, Jedi feel they should have an 'I win' button for any encounter. Id love to hear your reasoning for that.

Actually, I don't believe its an exploit. When you're force cloaked, you're invisible to others, but you're still THERE. You haven't become a ghost or anything. Any damage done to the area you're in should damage you, too. Damage will not break your cloak, tho. You'll just be invisible, and in pain

Oh, and to reiterate fact...

CAN use starship term
CAN use non-attacking jedi abilities
CAN be /targeted, but CANNOT be attacked directly (this is a bug, and is supposedly going to be fixed. No one should be able to know where you are when cloaked)
CANNOT attack (well, you can, but it breaks your cloak)
CANNOT use vehicles

I'd hardly call cloak an I win button given that a cloaked Jedi can't hurt you. Do you have a different definition than I do? Cloak is more like a "you don't win" button.

And you dodged my question. Care to try again?

Cloak is invisibility. You're not supposed to know where a cloaked Jedi is. Being able to target the Jedi is a known bug that is in the long list of bugs introduced in the CU. The only way to cause damage to a cloaked Jedi is to attack the area they're in (but you're not supposed to have any way to know where that is).

Cloak never wins fights. It is an escape ability only.
