I waited, while her friend spammed me with tells saying why I shouldn't be attacking her because she's friends with a somebody in the same guild as me. Finally I tell her that she probably would have won because of my crappy temp, and I leave. After I was off-planet, I get another tell, this time from the jedi.
"There, my force bar is restored, you can come back now."
Me- "Lol, hell no, I've wasted enough time on you."
If i'm stalking a Jedi for days on end, I tend to use my other accounts and add them to the freinds list on that. That way if i'm crafting or something or the other (yes i have 4 accounts for well over 18months and not a glowstick in sight) and i see them come online, it's happy days again and the great planetary Benny Hill chase resumes.

I believe it's 440,000 XP loss (about 2-4 hours of play to make up ).
If I wasa Jedi and was still grinding my template and died I would lose about 2-4 days of play (sinceI only get on about an hour a day).
Yes it's annoying.
Yes it happens to me when I hunt.
But the truth is that if I was a Jedi and had cloak I would use it etc. /shrug if the guy is a runner you'll probably just be aggravating yourself in the end.
I would drop, congratulate him for getitng away and get another mission.....that's just me....
One last thing, if they are low on force, it's a sure DB for them so that could also be a reason they run....

I logged in tonight, and tracked down the Jedi to his home on Talus. He was inside, and I sent him a tell. He decided that it was indeed to time play!
We fought briefly, and I must have worn him down either in patience or some ciritcal point where he runs... he said "let the games begin" and took off running.
I snared, then hit him with critical, then KD, then critical again, and aheadshot to finish him off.
He claimed a bug allowed me to kill him. Either way, I care not, the contract is over. The hunt was a good one!

No one has really answered the original question though.... if I were to make this guy run for3 days.... would that be worse than a one shot experience loss? How long does it take to grind out xp lost with a grinding group to cover the loss? A few hours or a few days?

LOL, Only noobs care about 20k in foods and 50k in bikes... get frikkin real. Majority of the BH's are pulling literally millions of credits from Jedi for their CA's.. My bank is full of credits, I have 10 plus ADK'sfrom all the Jedi who are paying outrageous amounts for the tapes.. 20 to 50k in losses? thats pennies bud. What can I say there ace, if you READ his post, he's upset about losing 4 speeders and the time for chasing the Jedi. Knock your fellow BH for complaining about the money, not me. I'm pointing out the money he's losing for continuing on with this hunt, which he seems to be concerned with.
See, that's the problem with only reading half a post and deciding to be a smart ass and comment on it. Let me give your simple little mind an example.

Now, this is probably what someone like you reads........."I'd love to shoot her"..........and promptly calls the police claiming that someone is about to get shot.

lol and you broke it down by cash equivalence, noticeyour argument ofcondition of armor and weapon as well. Face it noob, sorry 50k in lost decay bothers you so.. rofl
You should cut your losses and drop his mission because you have already lost. You lost time, you lost credits, you lost condition on your weapons and armor, you lost your cool and now with this post, you lost respect. Trying to ask people what would cause more grief to this jedi....are you serious?
Dropping the mission is your best option at this point unless you want to spend 2 more days failing your mission. Good luck....looks like you need some.
