Well you see, you're hunting him for the wrong reasons. A real bounty hunter hunts for profit, you're hunting him just to grief him now. That's niether fun for you or the jedi. But, the jedi is given an alt and can just wait you out for 3 days, while you can't take anymore BH missions until you drop.

I don't hunt for profit. I never did. It was NEVER about the money. It's about the hunt itself. Killing Jedi is an artform, and I am a master painter. Each fight makes me better, teaches me something, makes me more dangerous. It's about pride. It's about winning. If it was about the money, I would constantly run BH missions for loot.

I hate it when they run. I wihs they would expand jedi missions to space too. Thats would make it so people pvp in space and trani space more. And that also meens that No jedi is saffe anymore

Keep in mind: as long as the veteran reward yacht is non-attackable, Jedi have a safe place in space. And as long as people can decorate them, and use them for storage, the yachts can't be made permanently "destroyable". All you'll get is the Jedi back on the ground temporarily, perhaps with a few wounds, ready to hop right back into the yacht.

Or on the ground heading straight for a safehouse while you're still flying back to the space station to dock. If he was able to launch into space, he's not TEF'd. One of a grinding padawan's most formidable weapons against a BH is "Small Generic House Deed".

Usualy I would just drop the mission if they run for too long. I don't bame them for running, I blame myself for letting them get away. What gets me is when the jedi gets away and jumps planet, and I get a tell from them laughing at me. What a dumb move, before I was only motivated by collecting my bounty, but now I really want to take his xp.

I like your tactic

choke, kd, cloak, laugh

well i have never lost to a bh, pre-cu, pre-pub 9, after cu or anytime.. i dont laugh at them. i just move away.. but that is if i am not in the mood to pvp at that moment..

hmm had it occurred to you yet that although you seem to think its funny to ruin his gameplay time that he might actually be laughing at you as you waste days of your time chasing him around to no avail when the mission timer runs out

cause for someone whose main goal as you stated is to cause XP loss or grief a players gametime i would love to play cat and mouse with you for 3 days and rofl everytime you send me hate tells cause i got away again. BTW for a jedi escape means victory whereas his escape for you means defeat.

What’s worse: killing a Jedi and setting them back 300k xp (think that’s the number) or tracking them for the maximum mission time (3 days) and basically making them lose all that time?

That’s what I have to decide now. Last night I hunted down a mark on Tatooine. I tracked him into his city, popped out of cover and opened up on him. So he ran. And BOY DID HE RUN! I chased him for about 10 min across Tatooine, to his house where he decided to hide from me. So I “left”… Then he leaves his house, drives RIGHT OVER me, and pops me out of cover, so I chase him to another town… he’s trying to shuttle away. I shoot him to keep him in combat so he can’t leave, and he keeps rooting and running away from me. All the while, blowing up swoops, asking me to leave him alone, etc.

Finally he loses agro and shuttles out to Mos Espa, so I follow there…. The chase goes on for about another 10min there, he FINALLY decides to make a stand and fight me, I’m assuming because I had about 5 Rebel npcs aggro’d on me. Well they lost agro, he couldn’t kill me, so the running continued. Eventually, he ran into space and stayed there until I logged out about an hour later.

I want to make this Jedi pay for the 4 swoops be popped, and the aggravation of having to chase him all around just to have him “elude” me into space. So the question is this…. Money aside (as it does not matter to me) would it be more hurtful to this Jedi to kill him outright for the experience loss or to chase him for the 3 days that I will have his mission, causing him not to be able to actually do anything but run from me?

lol, nice. I am that kind of Jedi, I would rather run and irritate you then stand and fight. I know I can beat alot of bounty hunters but its more fun to irritate you guys. Although I was a BH for quite some time and know the tricks of the trade. I remember the Jedi that pissed me off the most and it wasent the ones that killed me. It was the ones that ran and got away. Also running from a BH is just fun as h3ll.

A fewthoughts ...

Who is making you do anything !? You have the option to drop the chase at any time !

Also are you making the assumption he isstill grinding and cares about XP loss.... he may be finish temp but without a very good 1v1 template and just enjoy the fact that while you are chasing him around the galaxy that is one lessBH removing xp from the levelling padawans.

Just thoughts

I chased him for about 10 min across Tatooine, to his house where he decided to hide from me.So you lost the first encounter. (Jedi 1 : You 0)So I “left”… Then he leaves his house, drives RIGHT OVER me, and pops me out of cover, so I chase him to another town… he’s trying to shuttle away. I shoot him to keep him in combat so he can’t leave, and he keeps rooting and running away from me. All the while, blowing up swoops, asking me to leave him alone, etc.

Finally he loses agro and shuttles out to Mos Espa So you lost the second encounter (Jedi 2 : You 0), so I follow there…. So you lost the third encounter (Jedi3 : You 0)

Money aside (as it does not matter to me) would it be more hurtful to this Jedi to kill him outright for the experience loss or to chase him for the 3 days that I will have his mission, causing him not to be able to actually do anything but run from me? So you came after the Jedi, lost 3 seperate encounters, lost approximately 50K in swoops (assuming you buy them and dont make your own), wasted what seems to amount to around 40minutes of play time, lost condition on your armor, lost condition on your weapon if it was puped and didnt have an adk on it, and probably burned through maybe 10-20K in foods. You want to continue to hunt this Jedi for three days at what seems to be around an average loss of about 50K per encounter? (foods, condition armor, condition weapon, swoops, time spent hunting a jedi that can clearly evade you). To answer your original question, I'd cut your losses, drop the mission, and try and find some helpless clvl 60 paddy if I was you.

LOL, Only noobs care about 20k in foods and 50k in bikes... get frikkin real. Majority of the BH's are pulling literally millions of credits from Jedi for their CA's.. My bank is full of credits, I have 10 plus ADK'sfrom all the Jedi who are paying outrageous amounts for the tapes.. 20 to 50k in losses? thats pennies bud.

What can I say there ace, if you READ his post, he's upset about losing 4 speeders and the time for chasing the Jedi. Knock your fellow BH for complaining about the money, not me. I'm pointing out the money he's losing for continuing on with this hunt, which he seems to be concerned with.

lol and you broke it down by cash equivalence, noticeyour argument ofcondition of armor and weapon as well. Face it noob, sorry 50k in lost decay bothers you so.. rofl

Uh...yeah I did. I broke it down for the guy complaining about cash.

You'd better watch out dude, you keep proving that you can learn like this....and sooner or later the welfare people are going to force you to get a job. You can't claim retarded forever.
