Sorry this happened to you. I don't tolerate such behavior in my grind groups.

If someone comes by and needs to kill their 25 wooks, we back off, take ten and wait for them to get done. We keep them healed if they getin in over their heads, but otherwise we don't interfere unless asked. I find it's best to leave people in such situations with a smile and a thank you rather then a grudge.

Now, if you show up to kill wooks all night, then you need to find another instance or get on our waiting list for a group slot, but we're not gonna impede people on a quest.

I actually have an /addignore macro to cut the time these people take away from my game from 10 seconds to about 2. Try it, it's liberating to have an actual, working, 'I win' button. lol

I've had jedi say stuff like that too "This is our spawn blah blah blah". When they do that I'll do one of two things, chase all of them into house and destroy the spawn lol or go get the Jedi's mission and put him in his place. If they want to act like little punks then treat them like one lol.

Very sad story,I havea different story for you. I was in a group of 6 people 3 were jedi(all rebels) when a imperial with his master BH tag comes running down. No Duels, all jedi prepared for a fight...while talking to the BH it is made clear to us that the level 60 BH is not on a jedi hunt, we brought him into the group so he could kill his 20 wookies, not sure what quest he was doing. In short, I am sorry you had a bad experience, but please understand that we are not all tools..

Not that this justifies their behavior. But I will tell you this. Low level paddie is perhaps the most stressful part of this game. It's not even really a game. As a normal prof, if you die, you get some wounds. Some bf. and some decay on your items. As a padawan, you can lose well over 100k of xp and be up to 10 million xp in the hole. Those paddies who grinded out the village see an ever deepening hole and it starts to wear them out. Let's be honest. Most of us do take this game more seroiusly than we should. Watching your radar and constantly wondering if the "stranger" who just rolled up on you is friend or foe starts to wear on you. Surprise attacks actually scare the crap out of most people that know they prob wont survive most encounters. So that tension is bottled up and filled to the brim. It explodes when the bh shows up.

Like I said. Doesn't justify the behavior. But Jedi and low level paddie is perhaps the worst part of the game. Sure its voluntary. This is the reason SOE granted the alt. And why do I say worst? Simply because your style and way of "living" in the game changes dramatically. With solo grinding no longer a "real" option (to go from 4500 per kill to 300 per when you need 45 mil+ will drive anyone to get on the terms. lol)most jedi/paddies are just nerve wrecked and overreact in most cases.

Alright this is what I have observed from Jedi on Kashyyyk...

Player jedi, and not all player jedi of course, seem to be (more than any other group of player in the game) those people who like to push other's buttons. Now I have met a fair share of respectable jedi, every single mark that I have killed replied to me through a tell that it was a good fight etc, even some whoI have failed to congradulated me on the fact that I was one of the first bounty hunters in months who gave them a run for their money. But either way what I have noticed is that jedi, in general, like to get a rise out of other players - but only if they are a knight (or near knight), if they have 5 friends who have taken their mission, or if they are on Kashyyyk.

I'm not going to even get involved with the first two, because then this post could go on for much longer than needed - but Kashyyyk is a very important topic. Jedi on Kashyyyk know that their actions are without consequince - and if you say its not harder to find someone who has pissed you off when they run to Kashyyyk then you're a liar. Now I know there are methods to finding someone on Kashyyyk, but jedi realize that the days when they upset you somewhere and then you could run to the terminals and make their life a living hell are over.

Therefore, as to get to the point of this post - Jedi do what they want on Kashyyyk, they act tough because without consequince what's to stop them. If I'm about to go into the Rryyyt trail and there is (a) jedi standing next to me, 8 times out of 10 they will either say or do something to instigate an argument. Why? Because if I have there mission they are about to head into 1 of the 8 instances. Right there I have a pretty week chance in following them to the right instance - from there I have another 1/5 levels they are going to and there are even more areas amongst the trail to increase the odds against me. I'll be standing somewhere on Kashyyyk and some Jedi does some annoying /emote and then calls me a noob or something. Now if and when the tables turn, and Jedi won't have a place to hide on Kashyyyk, believe me they will keep their mouths shut and think twice before upsettin a bounty hunter - especially if they're on the terms...

I'm afraid if that ever does happen there will be far too many knights and finished templates - the damage will already have been done.

/duel wont work if the BH has your mission.

I've recieved both ends of treatment as a Bh when it comes to jedi. I was in the Ryatt trials once and a bunch of jedi started flaming me with hate tells for having a MBH tag.

I've also been able to ask for help froma jedi without him freaking out and yelling at me. It just goes to show, for each proffiessian there are great people and great jerks.

Yes, I'm a bounty hunter, but this is ridiculous.
I'm on the Ryatt trail trying to rescue Rroot. As I get to the Feral Wookie village, there's a group of 8 or so Jedi there (didn't bother to count them).
One heals me, which I thanked him for. Then I automatically get a duel request as another one says, "Oh PLEASE tell me you have a mission on me!" I explain to them that I don't, then I go prone to kill ONE wookie I need for the mission. They start yelling at me that this is "their" spawn. I, trying to not be rude, tell them that this isn't a private spawn and that I only need one.
After going back to Rroot, I get killed and have to work my way back again. Once again, I am accosted, this time much more aggressively (3 duel requests). I tell them how annoying it is that I can't even run my own mission without getting accosted by Jedi. They tell me again to leave their spawn (which I wasn't attacking anyway). Tempers get pretty high for a moment, but evenutally settle down, and the main voice (who was having a very bad day anyway) apologised. Everyone went on their separate ways none the worse for wear.
I'm not upset at the Jedi in that group. I am, however, saddened that the game has gotten this way. I rarely hunt Jedi. I'm a bounty hunter mainly for the combat skills and for RP'ing. It really ticked me off at first that I was hit with such hatred. It's pretty hard to get me angry, but this was about it. Please, let's try to be at least civil to one another out there.
Oh, and BTW, why do people always accuse people of being a newb? I've been playing since day one and almost laughed myself out of my chair when one of the Jedi in the group called me a newb. I retaliated by calling him and ebayer, which I regret as well, considering that he also had been playing from day one and I had hunted with his alt a long time ago. Name calling and general rudeness has no place in a game like this.
And, if any of the Jedi reading this were in the group I mentioned, I hope your hunt went well and best wishes to you.

Sorry you had problems with such Jedi mate! There are stupid people everywhere mate! Just dont bother. And I dont really wish such jedi good luck, since they dont deserve it.
