Thread: BH FOTM and Alpha class?

I always thought that Jango could've just used his flamethrower on Mace as he closed in and saved his life or even toasted Mace. Then I realized that Jango's flamethrower must be connected to his jetpack fuel so when his jetpack went out that wasn't an option. Jango should've had a backup plan for something like that, but nobody's perfect.
You think they could just make a decent jetpack for once...

jango was getting old ... jango back in the day when he killed off the death watch faction split from the mandolores he was a much better fighter .. but hey .. he still managed to toast trebor coleman in three shots! and trebor was a jedi master!

maybe. the imperials on our server basically quit PvP because, as a group, they realized the GCW was freaking useless. i mean, sure if i wert overt i would likely get ganked by some cloakers somewhere. but not any real PvP to speak of.
but the GCW is stupidly implemented, has been ever since they forced jedi into it witht he FRS. well before actually. beside not everyone enjoys PvP. i never have because there has always been to many griefers/exploiters out there. maybe it is common for PvP enabled games, but the fact that this game was set up with griefing in mind (them telling BHs to kill jedi to keep them from finishing templates - yeah, encouraging griefing is a great idea) and the fact that it is almost impossible to get banned for exploiting (jedi actively overloading their sabers get that one saber deleted. that's it?!?)
why would anyone PvP? i cant answer that. last time i went overt was about a month ago, was getting choked and KDed by a cloaked jedi and he never uncloaked. couldnt use the /target bug to target him because it never gave his name. could fly out because i was locked in combat.i finally made it out of bestine with FR, but was that fun? sure wasntto me.

there is virtuallyno PvP for jedi right now but when a BH comes for a jedi. contrary to what your enormous ego says to you many jedi do not wake up in the morning i should log in to SWGs so i can be some BHs content. my jedi is about 95% PvE (he is MD though) although i didnt evenlog him while the loot for NBHs was so screwy. (he couldnt make 5-10m per hour)
Take a visit to Theed, Alephen. Theed on Ahazi = the Jedi temple before the purging in Episode III. There's Jedi vs. Jedi PvP there constantly.

is that real PvP or duels. i'm sorry i just consider duels PvP else i would have to say i PvP a couple times a week. sure dont feel like PvP though.
even if it is overt PvP, that is a pretty narrow field to have PvP in one area like that.

still no point in it though. kill a guy he goes to the cloner and that's it. a couple mins later he is overt again, if he wants to be. PvP rating i guess, but that doesnt do anything but let one give a numerical value when he brags about himself.
well i am off to bed. if someone were to join the game and ask me if they should grind a jedi i would answer, if you dont mind a couple months of tedious grinding, you get 1) to play a jedi (get FR sparkleys, swing a flashlight powered saber, maybe cloak) , 2)be very marginally better then other players, eventually but must expect it to take 6 more months since it takes time to get the crystals or money for the crystals for a halfway decent saber, 3) be really useful in a group as a high-end mob tank (as long as you are MD.) 4) get a second toon that you can use to be MBH + whatever you want because that will be your primary money maker to support your jedi.
personally i dont think the benefits are worth it. i mean, being pre-cu full temp i have a nice saber so am fine, but itwould bealmost impossible for a new jedi to get one. maybe if/when premiums/flawlesses are returned these new jedi would have a chance to compete, but until then no way.

They seems to have two reason1) they seem to think BH is new alpha class since Jedi has been nerfed so much and takes so long to get compared to BH. 2) Since loot is all messed up and BH seems the only way to get it after the AFK'ers got the caves nerfed etc. So what you guys think will all these new BH cause the nerfing of BH that Jedi has had to endure? Theinfo soe but out says that BH is mostplayed prof in the game and people cry about Jedi robes you cant go anywhere with out see someone with a BH tagand they were not to common in the movies themselves. To be clear I am not calling for a BH nerf just wondering what you all think.
