I think template of jedi and his saber make all the difference even more so now. I know this cause Ive talked to a few jedi who had no problem killing 2 BH while some had to run.


My template, MLS, 4/0/0/0 Healer, 4/4/4/0 Defender, and 2/0/0/3 Enhancer.


I had a two-man team come for me today. It was an easy fight really. My saber has 4 perfect pearls and a Bane's Heart crystal. I got it experimented to 10fc and100 action so its barely noticeable to use it. I was hitting with armor break active around 1400 per power attack. I also took the enhancer line to counter the BH's root tactics. They root me okay fine, I root them back and then kd and close to killing range. And for those wondering about heals....never used it. I can get by with improved infusion macroing. My 1500 heals were not needed even once against 2 BH. They reason why is obvious, defender...specifically improved force aura.


Keep in mind though not every jedi is gonna have this kind of saber. I spent about 55 million on the parts for mine

Snoko I been looking at your post. You have to be a jedi. Jedi are not nerfed in anyway. To the bh's and Jedi that thought Jedi were getting nerfed..told ya so.

My friend's saberdoes havean action cost but it might as well not have one since it hardly affects his action bar at all.


EDIT: I'm just throwing that out there (again). I didn't mean it in response to your point, really. I have no reason to believe that there aren't a few sabers out there that are still without action cost.

i warned them all, not to be euphoric. jedi wont become nerfd... they all are laughing about me.

im a noob and i suck all jedi kill me pls kill jedi and make em bad because all jedi sucks and i wanna be a jedi but i cant so die all jedi i was on my first bounty i died AND IT WAS MY FIRST damn i should have won death to em all and remove forceheal it destroy game and all jedi are the best even though i only attacked one i know they all are best and need to be killed and remove forcecloak its exploijt because i cant see my bounty death to em all

I went to hunt overts with my partner who is specializing on Force Armor. Pre Pub 19 it was hard to fight against better Jedi Templates, but since Pub 19, she's dominating. I am using MasterMarks, Master Pistol, MBH, and NMedic

Wedid duels and I was hitting 120 / 300 Hits and she hit me with 1000 (at a considerable rate).

I have an 5k Armor which is not the best, but we were well able in 2 v 2 to win vs enemy Jedi. SinceI am using health crystals, ruby bliel and the like Icould actually stand long enough against Jedi and at 630 DPS (speedcapped and full of accuracy attachements) dish out Damage to trouble enemy Jedi well. But admittingly I never managed to kill one 1 v 1 pre Pub 19 und with Force Armor I definitely bite dust earlier than a Womprat against a Krayt.

with my drinks,foods and spice (spice is only emergency)
and Improved Force Speed, my healing speed is about 10-15% slower than pre-pub 19 and i never ever run out of action or mind
im also not a mls, but have same speed and accuracy as a mls

without foods and drinks, my action and mind goes down insanely fast lol, but thats the key. we have to have the right drink/food combo's to survive..

if you want to beat jedi , and i say this for the last time , you need combat medic , and keep them dizzy,blinded etc to keep their defenses low , some speed tapes , paralyse when they get close , apply electrolye drain(2 min snare) and improved traumatize(halves mind regen) when you see they are trying to run away burst run close , apply parlyse , tyroid brake , snare , stoping shot and apply fire and poison dots , (make sure you have dot enhancers sold by bio engineers) and pound with all you have


ideal template:


pistoleer 0-0-0-4 , mbh ,mcm , also works :master combat medic , master rifle , bh 4-0-0-0


just make macros to remind you when traumatize and snare is about to run out , and dont dot early as dots brake parlyse


have fun


edit:forgot , make sure you have dodge food , syn stake , booster blue , and every single action regen food and drink you can ingest lol

This sounds like a short lived change. What with SOE wanting to get the 1v1 thing going with Jedi/BH. I bet by pub 20 they reverse many of these changes. My long term guess is that eventually Jedi will only be about 1.15x - 1.25x stronger than regular players and will have even more death penalties. Of course SOE says a lot of things. They said that the GCW was mainly for PvP but look at it now. Almost all PvE but thats another thread altogether.

There might still be jedi with 0 SAC sabers out there, but that will be extremely rare. The rest of us have a hard time dealing with action cost.

Lack of action/mind costs on the MLS is incredibly unbalancing--i dont have issue with the amount of damage -since its on par with a master rifleman--but to be able to hit for 900 every 2 seconds without affecting the action bar (unlike the rifleman) is game breaking

LOL this made me laugh. Lightsabers have the HIGHEST ACTION COST IN THE GAME!!!! We jedi run out of action after 20-30 seconds of dishing our specials. The best LS can have 95 SAC, which is still alot more than any other weapon in game, since we cant use SAC powerups.
If youhave fought a jedi that controlled his action / mind well, its because of a good combination of foods, alongside choosing the right specials at the right time.







This is why I can never trust what people say on the forums. Two totally opposite opinions that swear they are right. lol I do know on guild chat I was hearing something about sabers draining mind like mad????

Thats totally untrue. I looted the Nullifier x from the necrosis twice and both and an action cost around 120

I was surprised last night when I got a comment "Combat Medic/BH, real original" from a mark's friend. I didn't realize that many MCM, MBHs were running around. I imagine there will be a lot more shortly.


As to this fight, the jedi wasn't MLS and couldn't damage me to a point where I couldn't casually heal as needed.
